Jules Verne's Rocket To The Moon [DVD]

The new Studio Canal release of "Rocket To The Moon" is a big improvement over the previous Momentum DVD. The Studio Canal DVD looks like a new transfer with excellent colours. The Momentum release was quite badly faded and looks rather cropped compared to the new DVD. The Studio Canal DVD also has a 114 minute runtime compared to the Momentum's 104 minute runtime. Both DVD's are 2.35:1 anamorphic.As to the film itself, I really like it, though its not as a good as "Those Magnifcent Men" or "Monte Carlo or Bust". I'd love to see this film in HD.

ARRIVED ON TIME PACKAGING JUST RIGHT, THE DVD /FILM WAS GREAT BIT SLOW AT FIRST BUT IT GOT GOING SOON ENOUGH, WHEN IT GOT TO GO TO THE MOON, IT'S A GOOD FILM, I RATED IT 5 STARS, AS I'M A LOVER OF GOOD COMEDY WHICH THIS IS.

Classic film from the 60's one from my childhood a good copy on the dvd i highly recommend

I'm a Terry Thomas fan as he just makes me laugh without saying anything bit like the great Tommy Cooper, very colourful film and I enjoyed it and will watch again soon.

The whole action has been moved from Florida to Wales. This is more like a fairytale for children than a science fiction from the time of Jules Verne. Sorry, this movie was a big disappointment.

Everything was as promised, dvd is zany fun
