Q: Will this cut concrete?

Yes, but keep in mind the bit is not very deep, maybe an inch to 1-1/4". If your hole is any deeper, you'll need a cold chisel to chip the slug out once you bottom the bit out.

Q: would this be good for cutting lexan?

I don't think it would work well. A regular wood hole saw should cut lexan

Q: Will this drill drainage holes in ceramic planters?

I used it on a ½ inch thick ceramic tile, and it cracked the tile first time. It is very tricky to use it on a planter, because the planter has to be somehow fixed on a table or some solid base, and as you drill, have someone spray water constantly – Don’t let it dry while drilling it. Also any movement may cause to break it. I put the tile on plywood, and then I placed another sheet of plywood on top of the tile with a cut out hold, slightly larger than the size (4-inch) to drill through the hole on the tile, so it would not slide. Then I used clamps to hold them down on the surface of the table so it would not move or wobble. You would need to create something similar (cut out board) and fix it on the planter, then drill through the hole. I sprayed water constantly as I would drill. I did not push hard, instead, I drilled slowly holding the drill strait and evenly on all sides. It takes time, and you have to be patient.

I believe it can. I use it to cut 1/4 ceramic tile. Use plenty of water in the cut. Pull cutter out, water, cutter down. Do this often, go slow .
