I wanted a digital water temp gauge and decided to give this one a try. The temp sending unit fit in the stock location for the jeep 4.0. You will have to run a couple wires: hot, ignition power, ground and dash light. Pretty simple install. Love being able to know the exact temp with a quick glance.

I really like this gauge I have it set up in the middle if the top radiator hose and like being able to tell the water temp on addition to the gauge I have mounted on the block.

Gauge look great installed and easy to hook up. I really like the weatherproof plugs from sensor to wire leads.Installed a set of four gauges:Water tempTachOil pressureFuel levelAfter installing I noticed the water temperature gauge reading very high (240 degrees) while idling. Quickly checked with an OBD2 connected app and computer was reading 195 degrees. Then noticed the Tach was reading high as well.All were installed the same locations as the gauges they replaced which were accurate, just didn’t light up anymore.Contacted MaxTow with this issue and I am getting nothing but the run around. I have been sending and receiving an email a day for a week now. They keep asking the same questions about how they were installed after I explained it to them.I wound not recommend!

I love this product. So glad we installed it! I enjoy watching the temperature climb as we’re on big hills and mountains. But have the peace of mind that we’re not running too hot... yet.

I have a set of 4 of these gauges and 2 (this is one of them) work great. The fuel gauge has some intermittent flashing / reading problems but the tachometer is all around useless apart from just matching the rest.

It works great and is accurate and reliable. I have had it for several years and it’s been perfect. It’s on a Detroit Diesel 71 series.

I LOVE the green illumination and the digital display! I'm ready to fill BOTH A pilliars with MAXTOW guages and GO CRAZY! THE best guage I've ever seen! I love it!

After using a set of Max Tow gauges for about a month in a bus, I have to write a poor review on them. I bought them because the dual analog and digital display is really a great idea. The problem is very poor quality control. With everything working properly the gauges will intermittently cut out and start flashing. This occurs when it loses connection to the sensor or when a sensor fails. It appears that the 24 AWG wire connectors don't properly fit into the sensors. I found wiggling the wires at the sensor cause the gauges to cut out. I'm on the second temp gauge (same problem with trans temp) and will replace them with Autometer products. The Chinese quality control isn't up to par. Don't be fooled by the cool display.
