Q: I fitted this yesterday into a realm of thrones chair, and the level doesn't activiate the cylinder, has any one seen this problem?

Did you remember to remove the cover from the adjustment pin? If you leave it in place it wont move up and down.

Q: Does this gas lift only work with a mechanism plate with a lever or czan the height be adjusted by turning the chair clockwise or anti clockwise

The lift works with a lever that pushes down on the top, it, fits most of the computer chairs. You do have to give it a good bash to release the old one from the base.

Q: All my bar stools are squeaking when you move on them,is this because of the gas cylinders? They still go up and down

I think it's very possible it is the gas lift squeaking, mine squeaks all the time and quite badly, I know it's the gas lift and not the other chair parts (the gas lift itself only lasted 3 weeks and now I've had to use a 'dropper stopper' or risk having a chair ruined and the cost of a new one), not one of my better purchases.

Q: Is there any wobble side to side of the chair when you connect this up?

No wobble from the gas lift. Easy to fit and works well. Hardest part was getting the old one out of the chair base. Word of caution, installed mine in Dec 18. Now Dec 19 and the gas lift is already failing. From being full up it drops to its lowest setting in about 10 minutes when I sit on it, but to be fair I am a big guy!
