Multi use twist ties!
These are so much useful than cable ties. They can be used over and over. Great for sorting out tv cables. I use them in an edc pouch and they make a iPhone stand for watching tv on the plane. Only limitation is your imagination.

Great for thick cables
I got this for taming a thick Kensington laptop lock - it's fairly solid steel cable that wants to unwrap itself in your bag. These are great because the attach to a cable to stop you loosing them and if they can stop a security cable from uncurling itself they should work for nearly anything else of similar type.
