Perfect fit, just the right amount of elasticity, so soft and comfortable. Anyone who left a review below 3 stars is full of it. I remember one that concerned me going crazy about the amount of lint. Ridiculous! I washed all 12 pairs and the lint is normal. I am a shoe size 11 and bought the 12-15 because I was also concerned about shrinkage, but there was very little all last year I wore expensive god toe socks that should have fit but they were too short where the heel was on the bottom of my foot and the calves squeezed so tight they were uncomfortable. I’m so glad I now have comfortable, soft roomy socks to wear every day.

These are the most impressive, best quality socks I have ever owned/worn. When they arrived in a square box I was intrigued. I opened the box and each pair of socks was neatly folded and stacked inside. They also didn't have those dumb little plastic (whatever the hell you call them) tags holding the socks together. Instead, they had a paper sleeve holding them neatly. These WANDER people take pride in their product and it shows. I inspected the socks and felt how thick and well-made they were. I turned them inside out and washed them before wearing them like I do with all new clothes. These socks are impressive! Very soft, thick, well-made and comfortable. I have literally worn every brand of crew socks and these are by far, the best.

I purchased these in March 2022 (size 12-15). They are finally starting to wear out and I've thrown a few pairs away recently. Overall, they have been okay socks, but I wouldnt buy these again. They are too stretchy (which can be a plus for some people), which can lead to bunching at the heel when putting shoes on. In addition, they are still shedding quite a bit of lint which is annoying. Longevity I've worn them mostly in the colder months (upper Midwest), so they haven't seen constant use in the past 1.5 years. I feel like I've done an okay job of rotating them so they are wearing evenly. In the past couple weeks, I've had to finally throw out about 6 socks because they are getting holes, mostly in the tips of the toes or ball of the foot. It's all normal wear and tear, but I definitely haven't had this many socks all fail at once before. Fit Fit is true to size for 12-15 (I wear a 14 US athletic shoe). However, these are very stretchy, as evidenced by the higher than normal spandex percentage. I'd expect that on the calf, but it's throughout the sock which can be annoying and cause bunching and rotation of the sock on your foot. However, the stretchiness may be a plus for those with larger calves or wide feet. Feel The socks are very thick with a lot of cushioning in the material on your foot. However, they've shed constantly over their lifespan. I'd recommend washing them inside out every now and then to help with that. It never goes away though. Most socks shed, but these are a tad ridiculous compared to other brands (Under Armour, Carhartt, Dickies, GoldToe, etc.).

I am a middle aged lady who is VERY VERY picky with the kind of socks I wear so after buying/wearing the worlds perfect socks for 20 years, that company sold out to China. I was so bummed when I realized that like everything else China makes, they changed the material from 95% cotton to some icky synthetic material that pills after washing, they also changed the weave of how they are sewn, and, are now paper thin and also, too small for average sized person to wear. So for the past 8 or 9 years, I have been searching and searching for socks that were comparable to what I used to buy. I need them to be made with good quality, high cotton content, sewn with a tight knitted type weave pattern, doesn't have that horrible arch compression that squeezes my foot, isn't restricting around my calf yet doesn't slide down on the leg, has a thicker sole, doesn't pill after washing and drying, and feels so good on my feet! ****(Side note, most manufacturers are now putting that arch compression in their socks because it saves them money. They can use less material and assemble them quicker by sewing them in a looser weave type pattern and then adding that arch compression to keep them from sliding around and bunching up inside the shoe)**** If they were sewn the way a good, old fashion, quality sock used to be sewn, the socks wouldn't slide around on the foot. They stayed put because the threads were weaved and sewn closer together, more compact, more thread material per square inch, in a weave pattern which takes a longer time to construct and more material per sock. However, the manufacturers are all about their bottom dollar and will cut costs wherever they can while fooling the consumer. So, they came up with the clever idea to add this "ach compression" to keep the sock from bunching up in the shoe and make their socks quicker and use less material. I wasted sooooo much money trying to find the perfect socks that fit all the above criteria, only to be duped again and again with cheaply made socks. And then, I purchased a 3 pack of these white Wander socks, size 9-12. . Oh My!!!! These socks are soooo close to being just like the socks I had bought and worn for 20 years. They have everything I have been searching for in a perfect, quality made, cotton sock. Yes, they are on the expensive side but you are going to get what you paid for in these socks!

They are beautiful to look at even though they are just white crew socks with reinforced toes. Feel very comfy and soft. Mostly cotton which I prefer, but with a touch of stretch which will keep themfrom looking slouchy. Nice product.
