Messianic Torah Devotional: Messianic Jewish Devotionals for the Five Books of Moses

Kevin Geoffrey writing seems to be just what I need, when I need it. I highly recommend all of his books.As the title says it correlates with each week's Torah portion.In 2-3 pages, Kevin encourages the reader to go deeper into the study & ends with a prayer to "jump starts" us to draw closer to the Almighty, Creator and Lord.For me, it's the frosting on the cake.Note: Messianic refers to Jews who have accepted Jesus Christ as Messiah. I am not Jewish, but he helps me understand scripture on a new level.

I have owned and used this devotional for a couple of years. It is earmarked, highlighted and written in throughout its pages. I can't imagine not using it to start every Saturday morning Shabbat. Thanks to Keven for the interpretation of each days "lesson". I own the Mo'adyim Devotional which I study from during the time of the Feasts and Appointed Times. I also appreciate the Glossary in the back of the Torah Devotional. These are very helpful devotionals.

this book help you with knowing what to pray for as you go though your day it help you to focus on the reading of the day and to walk though the Torah. is book is not for everyone because some people not looking for some deep

This Devotional is based on the weekly Torah Readings from a Messianic view point. It brings a light to the weekly readings. I have begun quoting from it in our Home fellowship's weekly newsletter, giving full credit to the author. Each week it brings a new thought or interpretation on what I have just read as I prepare for the coming Sabbath.

I have enjoyed the Messianic Torah Devotional and the Messianic Jewish Devotional so much that I recommend them highly. They are a great library addition.

Negative: The calender within is out of date as 2013 and there is no instructions to which page goes with what Torah reading. But I found out what reading was online and found it in book now I'm in line with my daily reading. If your looking for a word by word study guide, then this is not it. This, is for those who are already reading YHVH's Torah on a daily basis and occasionally need a boost to help the mind in the right direction. It is written with a 'Messianic' bent, thus the title and should be read as such.Shalom
