Where Have You Been All My Life?
Simple, clear, biblical, practical, and inspiring: This book is exactly the kick-in-the-pants church leaders need to start linking up across town. This book was refreshing, hope-giving, and helpful in boots-on-the-ground ways; these guys are practitioners as well as theologians Even if you don't connect with every "jot-and-tittle" contained in the book, your heart will be warmed, your mind will be enlivened, and your vision will expand. This is the kind of book that should already exist--it should have existed hundreds of years ago--it should have been written and rewritten by pastors in every era of church history. If it was, it seems like the kind of book whose message must fall out of favor quickly. At any rate, it's an important call to arms, one that every pastor, every elder, every ministry leader, needs to read, pray over, and put into action.Buy a dozen copies, throw a luncheon for the pastors you think might be interested in partnerships, and see where you can strengthen and support one another, in ways described in this book.

An interesting, short book on partnering with other churches.
I picked up this book because I thought it might be helpful to me and our small church. There are things I would like for us to be able to do that our numbers and financial position won’t allow. However, this book seemed more geared toward established, bigger churches. The strong point was the author’s biblical basis for kingdom partnerships. The weakness for me was the practical. The final chapter (9) titled “Putting it all together: Kingdom partnership, step by step” was good but seemed too little. I did enjoy the book and left it with some good reasons to reach out to partner with other churches. But I thought this book was going to be something else namely, a resource that would help small churches with little to no staff on practical ways to link up with other churches to accomplish otherwise “un-accomplishable” goals.

Really good insight into how to reach out in your community using a joint effort; however, unify with those who preach the truth
This is a really insightful book that had a lot of great suggestions to help create unity between different churches in order to reach out and seek the lost. However, it is important to unify and unite around the Gospel and central truths about who Jesus is. Unifying around lies won't save people. The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation. I think this book is helpful; we as the church should be reaching out to seek and save this lost and dying world with truth. We first have to understand what the Gospel is. Telling people, "Jesus loves you" is not the gospel; inviting people to church is not the Gospel; living your life in the light of the gospel is not THE GOSPEL. I think this book is a "must-read".

Practical, bulleted, concise
Easy read and good reference. If your not interested in kingdom partnerships, I was inspired while reading it. This is an easy first step and instructions for the way.

A helpful and practical challenge for churches to partner
This book is very biblical, practical & realistic about church partnership. It is a clear call for churches to work together for the good of the Kingdom, rather than just try and do things alone and for our own fame.
