KFI 105872 Winch Plow Mount

I have always owned steel blades, but decided to give this one a try. Awesome choice! After having two very wet/icy snowstorms here, as well as others, it performed beautifully. No more snow flying over the top of the plow due to the high profile and the healthy rubber flap along the entire upper edge. It has a durable framework, and is heavier than the steel blades of past, but performs beautifully. That wet stuff just won’t stick to it like the steel ones. The edge markers aren’t essential, but add a nice touch to it. Only two small issues : the higher profile blocked my stock headlights (which didn’t work well for plowing anyway) so I added two LED floods high on the rollbar. Second, because of the mount geometry, it raised much too quickly. Fixed that with a snatch block on the cable. Two VERY small issues for such a well constructed plow!

This is a review of the complete system, 105635 Push Tube, 105255 Plow Mount, and 105872 Plow. All three items arrived very quickly and the packaging was in perfect condition and intact. (sometimes heavy items tend to not be packaged properly) Hats off to KFI, all the components are well built and the instructions are very clear and concise. Everything fit perfectly on my 2014 Polaris Mid-Sized Ranger 570. It took me less than 2 hours from unboxing to completely assembled. One part of me is looking forward to the first snowfall so I can try it out.

Mad dog was good to work with.Had a misunderstanding of what the product was. They took the product back and issued credit with a restock fee but understood it was my fault.

Taller and the rubber flap will help a lot over my previous blade.
