SD-200SA Square D Generator Interlock Kit for Homeline Meter Main 150 or 200 amp Breaker

I used this on an older GE 150 AMP load center panel. I could not locate one made specifically for the panel, even after emailing a few manufactures of generator interlock kits. I came across this one and looking at the pictures, it appeared to work. I just completed the installation and yes, it worked. I installed a Reliance Controls Corporation PB50 50-Amp NEMA 3R Power Inlet Box, 50-Amp for Generators Up to 12,500 Running Watts using Cerrowire 147-4203A 25-Feet 6/3 NM-B Stranded with Ground Wire, Black and a 50 amp breaker, which I purchased at Lowes. With the excess 6/3 wire I made an extension to connect generator to inlet box using Camco 55255 50 AMP PowerGrip Replacement Plug and a Reliance Controls Corporation LL550C 50-Amp CS6364 Generator Power Cord Connector for Generators Up to 12,500 Running Watts. Everything works perfectly fine.

Needed to add this interlock to make my generator hookup legal on my outside panel. My panel is about 20 years old, GE TL820PN 200 AMP 16 POLES MAX. Didn't have much room, but thankfully the breakers were right beneath the main breaker, so I was able to use this straight interlock. You get the interlock, threadlocker, a drill bit, warning stickers, 2 long removeable zip ties, and instructions.

This product was just as expected. Fit perfectly between breakers and moved nice and smooth.

Very simple but ingenious and useful technology. Comes with everything you need to install the transfer switch. Only reason I am deducting a star is because of the price point, which is in my opinion way too high for what it is.
