Mated with my old security camera system wires
I have two simple wired security-cameras/intercom system purchased from Radio Shack around 2000.The cables from the cameras run back to a base unit, which displays the picture on a monitor.I had to relocate the base unit, moving it nearly 50' away. (The wires run through my attic and then down inside the wall to the base unit.)As luck would have it, I found this cable which has the same connections (ends) that my security cam has.I purchased two of these 50' cables as extensions for each camera.They have been working flawlessy for 6 years.I bought from Amazon in 2012 and shipping was free.

Doesn't work for modern keyboards that support PS/2 through an included USB adapter?
I bought 3 of these hoping to use them to extend Zalman World's Fastest Ultra Polling 1000Hz & Unlimited Multi-Key Input Wired Gaming keyboard (ZM-K600S) and not have the USB to PS/2 adapter it comes with hanging off the PCs and requiring more space behind them. Now that they've finally gotten here not a single one works for this purpose. For two of them the keyboard lights flash on boot and then the keyboard isn't detected by BIOS or Windows. For the other there's no response at all. Anyone know why this would be, or what I can do to get a PS/2 extension that works for this purpose? The keyboard works fine connected without this cable in between.

Shipping and Handling Cost hurt the sale.
The item was exactly what I wanted. However, Shipping and Handling doubled the price, making it less than a good deal.

Worked great for connecting a BR-355 GPS Receiver
Bought this cable to connect a BR-355 GPS receiver to a Uniden VHF Marine Radio. Clipped off the male end, connected to female end to BR-355 and wired cut to radio and power supply. The 15' cable allowed me to place antenna in optimal location.
