A really nice wireless keyboard with a "free" mouse
So I've been typing on the keyboard for a couple of days now and I have to say - this is a really nice keyboard! I really like the key response and the spacing is great considering how small it is. They numberpad layout will take some getting used to due to the design but otherwise using the keyboard is really a delight. I'm amazed by how small and thin the keyboard is - I would easily be able to pack this in a carry on bag with all my other electronics if needed. The mouse, though. To me the mouse is a very different story. I don't find the size or shape of the mouse to be particularly friendly to my hand (although I'm sure this varies person to person). The finish of the mouse wheel feels cheap, and I find it annoying that the on/off button hangs slightly lower than the mouse body. This doesn't seem to cause any issues on a hard or soft mousepad, but bugs me aesthetically a bit. I will probably file it down a millimeter or so. On the positive side, I do like the "mute" press of the mouse buttons though. It really adds to the quietness of the set.Haven't used them long enough to judge battery life, but I assume it should be fine. It's a bit annoying / buyer beware that the keyboard uses 2 AAA batteries, but the mouse uses 1 AA battery. So if you don't have batteries at home you'll need to buy two types to power this set.All in all, I think this is a great combo. I really like the keyboard and I think it's a good price for the keyboard itself. I like that there is a single wireless receiver for both items, and that each item has a receptacle to store the receiver in case you only wanted to take or use one.

Compact wireless keyboard that has full size keyboard feel.
I use quite a few different machines during my workday and I wanted a full size keyboard and mouse that I could take with me so I didn't have to adapt constantly to a new keyboard. This light, compact, keyboard and mouse combo still has full size keys and is very comfortable to use. There is almost no trade-off for using a keyboard this size.Key 'throw' is short, but responsive, and is quiet also - which makes my cubicle-mates happy. The mouse also is nearly silent. The keyboard is light and made out of a matte-finish material which has a good grip - as does the mouse. One feature I find very helpful is that there is an on/off switch on both the mouse and keyboard which can't help but prolong battery life if used correctly. The mouse is light, but has enough weight to respond quickly to movement. I am not a gamer, so accuracy/speed is not as important to me as some, but I found that the cursor was very responsive and tracking was optimal. The receiver is plug and play, and has a receptacle in the battery compartment of the keyboard for safety and storage when not in use. This combination fits well in my backpack so that when I have to go to a client it is a simple matter to throw it in there as well and have a keyboard I am familiar with to use.

Decimal key up top? Seriously?
What knucklehead designed the numeric keypad this way? The decimal key is way up top above the digit "7". It's supposed to be down by the "0" key like every calculator/keypad ever made. If you intend to use this keyboard for anything other than text forget it... your brain will not adapt to the funky position of this key. Totally my fault for not being more observant but I just assumed this design would follow well established norms.Update: Seller refunded me for purchase price. I will give 5 stars for customer service and 1 star for product design (3 star average). While this kind of response is always nice, I can't excuse the errors in design. The only reason one would buy a keyboard with a keypad would be to actually use it. I'm by no means an accountant but do pound a few numbers into spreadsheets on occasion. Over the years, your fingers simply know where all the keys are without even looking at them. This applies to any keypad except this one. It was so frustrating I threw it in the dumpster.

This keyboard is slick! Mouse is lacking. No batteries included.
This keyboard is great! Has everything you would need included full number pad. Keys have a very satisfying click to them and are very comfortable to use. The keyboard is lightweight but does not move on the desk due to good rubber pads. The angle is not adjustable but for me it is comfortable. The mouse on the other hand is a different story. It is also lightweight but feels cheap. The scroll wheel on my mouse has cheapo plastic that looks like fake chrome that was very rough and sharp on the edges like it wasn't made correctly. This would be a 5 star product if the mouse was a little better quality. Mouse works ok for a travel set but didn't make the cut for long term use. Also no batteries included!! Most other wireless keyboards I have bought in this range have included the batteries. :( You will need 2 AAA for the kayboard and 1 AA for the mouse.

Very Compact
I bought this keyboard/mouse because at my work we no longer have designated workspaces, so I work out of a backpack. I wanted a keyboard that could easily fit into my backpack. This keyboard fits the bill, it is super compact, I can type just fine (doesn't feel crammed). I have just 2 small issues. First, it has more of a tilt to it than I would like that can cause some hand/wrist fatigue if typing for a long time. I've remedied this by setting it on top of some post-it notes to have it more level/ergonomic. The second small issue is with the 10 key pad, the enter key is not on the side as you're used to on a regular keyboard, it's at the bottom (under the 2 & 3 keys), the 0 key is small (I'm used to the larger 0) and the decimal as well as the . / + - * keys are all in different places, so it will take a little getting used to. The mouse is great, silent, can't hear it click at all. Good product for the price.
