The 8 risers are separate. There are four 3” risers. There are four 5” risers. By stacking/nesting a 3” riser on top of a 5” riser, it makes an 8” riser.

Hello, The only bed riser on the market that I have found that has a opening larger then 3" is this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FXT8XC2 It has an opening that accepts bed posts up to 5.5". Hope this helps.
