How can I update maps

Pretty sure this model doesn’t have maps, u can only write your own

what type of battery do you use? What comes in the box?

Mine is hooked to a deep cycle marine battery that is charged by the boat motor. As for what comes in the box, you get the head unit, transducer, wiring harness and mounting bracket.
