Good wood burns well

Good size, not tiny bits but still small enough to light a fire. A firelighters and three or four of these sticks, and you’ve got a good fire going. I only wish it didn’t come in nets because you always end up with little bits stuck in the net and spend ages disentangling them because you don’t want to waste a single piece.

These work really well. Now on my second purchase

This is my 2nd order. I was very pleased with the 1st order of 3 bags. Sadly this order isn't as good and I won't be ordering again. Some of the kindling sticks are more like small logs and should have been split further into smaller ones. I now have to chop them smaller myself which isn't what I paid for. Also, the bags were left outside the front door and although we have been in all the time, the delivery driver didn't bother to ring the bell, so I only discovered them today almost by accident. Very disappointed!

Big sacks for the money. And they get the fire going with no problems

I purchased 15kg of dried kindling. I could see this was underwheight and wheighed them. The three bags totalled less than 11kg when I purchased and paid for 15kg of dry kindling. I complained and requested a refund for the underwheight, There reply was that I was lucky to receive it underwheight because that means it was better because it was drier. I have never heard so much garbage. The only way of them achieving the weight I had bought was if they soaked it in water? This was their response:"Thank you for your message. Firewood is sold by volume because it is very hard to accurately determine weight due to variations in the moisture content of kiln dried wood, especially across the different types of wood, as well as the fact that wood will continue to dry after it is packed.The volume of your order will always be the same. If your order weighs less than you expected you have an added advantage (and better value for money) because the less the wood weighs the lower the moisture content is and the better it will burn. If you were to test the moisture content it will most likely be below 5% whereas as we advertise 20%. These do their job. They are good quality kindling, but you can get cheaper - also delivered. I won't buy again as they are too expensive.
