Bad Reputation

A very happy New Year’s Eve watching this with a beer and a pal. I like Joan of the Jett and is someone I come across now and then on my online musical travels but didn’t know to much about. I have seen the Runaways movie a long time ago which I thought was great.I am 57 and although I love these docs i wish at the end they would just have say an hour of the complete songs live or not, there’s only so much fawning you can take by the time you get to my age and although it’s heartwarming to hear i wish for complete songs mostly and noisy guitars.Joan didn’t say anything about her guitars like the Melody Maker or the Les Paul which is something I would like to have heard about. Still she looked fantastic striding about the stage..,After It finished and my friend had gone I went on YouTube and listened to some more and saw the new year in with I love Rock n Roll then went to bed... happy.That’s corona for ya....What impression did this movie leave me with? I thought she sometimes seemed alone and resigned to it which was a shame and over compensated for by constantly working.Possibly if she didn’t have such a close relationship with her manager who has by appearances looked after her maybe she’d be a little more happy. A tough situation.Still she is a fabulous entertainer like Kim Gordon, Kim Deal and Taylor Swift she’s out there....
