I read through the reviews and saw some ppl complain about the weight and that it wasnt lightweight which is exactly what I was looking for and why I ordered it. I like mine to be a little heavier for more control. Some may not be too happy with the material but its perfectly fine for me. Glad i orderee these. And both have the gold trim

I wanted the bright yellow in the picture but it was a darker color

It wasn't silky, soft. It was made of the same stiff material that sheer kitchen curtains are made from. The color is vibrant and beautiful, I bought yellow. It is really long. It serves it's purpose for performing but I thought it would be silkier so it would flow better.

This thing is so heavy, stiff and bulky it's nearly impossible to use, unless maybe you're 7 feet tall and don't mind fabric so scratchy you have a rash after twirling it a few times. The gold edging looks really cheap too. Fabric doesn't drape well, feels like that cheap netting they put fruit in

Very nice quality, size, and weight. I am a beginner/intermediate belly dancer. I used it for an outdoor performance on a slightly windy evening. The veil I am used to is silk, but it was not difficult to adjust my technique. I like that this one is a bit more sturdy for outdoor use.

Way to heavy for praising the smell it was horrible..
