Thought-Provoking and Inspiring
Dead Poets Society really stuck with me. It’s a beautifully written story about finding your voice, thinking for yourself, and chasing what truly matters. The way it captures the struggles and excitement of figuring out who you are felt so real and relatable. I kept thinking about it long after I finished—about courage, creativity, and what it means to really live fully. This book is uplifting, emotional, and one that makes you reflect on your own choices and passions. Definitely one I’d recommend to anyone who loves stories that stay with you.

amazing
This book is a quick read that allows you to immerse yourself into the world of the 1960s. It’s a very engaging plot and the author writes incredibly. I highly recommend watching the movie afterwards because it brings the words to life. It does have some triggering content so beware and look up the warnings!

Recommended to dedicated DPS fans
I thought this book was very fun to read -- I finished it in less than a day! It is nearly identical to the movie, with a few extra scenes added in and very minor changes. It isn't a challenging read, with pretty simple language. Compared to the movie, the book is not at all as rich in emotion. Like I said, it's very, very simple. Definitely watch the movie first if you have not already, and then read the book for the extra scenes if you still want more. It is worth reading, but the movie is much, much better.

needed to feel something
I was thinking of the movie when I realized I never read the book. Before I rewatching the movie (I needed to feel something, for the life of me, whether it was happiness or sadness), I decided to read it. I was missing out. It included everything I wanted. A mix of everything. Made me laugh, cry, it also inspired me. In what? I don’t know, but I knowledge that it pushes me towards something different than what I’m currently doing. <3
