I wanted to make eccles cakes for my family and the traditional recipe from England called for Mixed Spice... and I found it through Amazon from the nice folks at Boston Spice. The flavors are wonderful, and the package that was due between May 11 and 16th arrived the 8th. So I say 5 stars for Boston Spice, fast, flavorful, and fresh..... what more could you ask for.

I bought this spice mixture for my Christmas baking and I have no regrets! My cakes had a wonderful taste and flavor and I didn't need to use a lot of this spice to get such a delicious and unique flavor! Highly recommend.

I have had an English mixed spice once before from a different seller and loved it. This was not what I was expecting. The main ingredient is allspice and I like that flavor, but I find it overwhelming in this mix. I expected a mix that could be used in sweet (ish) baked goods. This spice is more savory and would be better suited to dinner meat.

I've been looking for mixed spice for the US market forever! Used this in my Christmas pudding and it was delicious. Friendly handwritten thank you on the slip - much appreciated. Their Bloody Mary mix is also superb. Thanks Boston Spice!

I was hoping that this would be the same as the ground mixed spice I get in the UK, sorry to report that it is not. The spice is really fresh and good, but probably best in pumpkin pie e.t.c.

I've recently taken up British baking and needed a few specialty items like this mixed spice, (Thank you Amazon). Arrived with a handwritten 'thank you' note and a sample of another seasoning blend from their store~Nice Touch! The mixed spice is fresh, delicious, and reminds me of Mothers baking when I was a child. Will definitely order again.

I started using this spice combo in receipes such as pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheese cake. It made just a slight difference that made my dishes unique. I highly recommend it for your Holliday cooking.

I used this in my Christmas cakes and they tasted amazing! I also tried a bit of the bonus spice rub sample that they sent on some pork chops which added a great layer of flavoring! Will definitely be trying other spices from Boston Spice soon!
