Got my mower running perfectly

Not easy to install. You must remove the battery to get to the PTO, at least on my model you have to.

So I love my Cub Cadet Zero Turn but I never got around to disabling the reverse cut off switch for the blades. With the cut off in place I was constantly popping this switch off and then to get the blades to restart after tapping the reverse pedal. It did not take long for an issue to surface where the blades would stop and I would turn the switch off and then back on and nothing would happen. I would alter drive speed, alter the engine speed, and pop it in and out a few times and it would kick back on at some point during that process. I dismantled the controls and got to the switch and cleaned it up and cleaned up the wiring, but that only helped a little and eventually it just stopped coming on at all. I saw this part and the claim to have the "10amp upgrade" and decided to give it a shot. It immediately fixed my initial problem and now the blades start every time. Between lawn and leaves we have a nearly year long mowing season here and the OEM part lasted just over 3 years. I have since disabled the reverse cut off but I will update this review if this new switch starts to give out as the OEM part did. Regardless though, if you have blade starting issues, I would recommend trying this switch.

I purchased this switch in July and installed it the last week of the month and by the end of Sept it was becoming intermittent and now doesn't work at all. I wasn't expecting it to last 5 years but I at least expected to get through the mowing season in Florida. I will need to order another switch and try this again. Wasn't expecting this with the stellar reviews that were given.Updated review. Turns out the switch was not the problem but the Push Button Switch module was intermittent. Seller was awesome with a quick response to resolve the perceived issue and I would definitely buy from them again. I will also commend Cub Cadet as their customer service rep was kind enough to send me an accurate wiring diagram that helped me diagnose the issue correctly (this time).

I needed a PTO switch for my mower, my original switch started giving me problems. It's fall of the year and I use the mower a lot to get up leaves. Due to the virus and having to travel cross town to look for a part they might not have. I looked and found this part on Amazon. It has great ratings and it came the next day. This part was a breeze to put in and works great. Built better than OEM

Part was easy to install. Make certain u grease it as instructed. Took a few cycles to engage initially, but engages easily.
