NovaStar 8 OS Rollator Walker with Perfect Fit Size System, Lightweight & Foldable, Great for Travel, Color Blue, User Height: 5'3" -6'2"

This walker is for my husband, who has Parkinson's Disease and knee problems -- first a total knee replacement, then a knee revision, then a spiral break in the femur. He does not need this to walk short distances (he uses a cane) but does need it to walk longer distances such as visiting museums or walking around the block as his leg tires easily and there is a fall risk. We can now travel again!He tried many different walkers and said this one was the sturdiest walker with sturdy frame and wheels. It went together very quickly and has a great handle that is lifted to fold the unit to put it in the car. There is a pin or key that when inserted holds the walker shut when traveling so it doesn't pop open at inopportune times. The large wheels easily glide over uneven surfaces or bumps in the road, and the brakes work well. The storage compartment is large enough to hold a variety of things, depending on where we go -- snacks, water, small lunch bags, jackets, umbrella, etc.The seat is comfortable enough for short periods of sitting and the backrest is a foam-covered bar that hits him awkwardly. We do carry a cushion he can either sit on or use behind his back.This is a fantastic walker for someone who likes visiting places but cannot walk long distances with a cane. I feel more secure in the knowledge that this sturdy walker is a safer alternative to lighter models.

We got this walker for my wife to use occasionally when talking longer walks. It works great on the sidewalks since the wheels are large enough to easily go over most bumps and holes in the path. It is very well built and easily supports her both walking and for sitting when the need arises. Overall high quality, easily adjustable and portable.

This is an amazing walker. we put it together in 10 minutes, and my husband loves it . the big wheels can go over the threshold really easilly. the seat is bigger than our old one. The bar to close the the walker for transportation is perfect I love the little gizmo for keeping it closed... so much easier to deal with. Very sturdy, and I like the adjusment to height, its easy to adjust.

The 8" wheels ride easily over small bumps and thresholds. Sturdy frame. Brake lock requires only light pressure. Easy assembly. Two issues: (1) back rest is not adjustable and hits my 5'1" wife uncomfortably high on her back; modifying it will probably void the warranty. (2) No Lock N' Load mechanism on this Nova Star 8 OS model. I use lashing straps to hold the back and front together when folded and to keep the seat from flopping open. I'm satisfied with the overall performance and quality.

My husband needed a walker after rehab.This has been excellent. Easy to open and close.It rolls well outside.

This is our 3rds NOVA walker, only smaller. There are two of us in need and out 3 wheeled one is for tight quarters on occasion.

My mom loves this. It's stylish and well made and provides her with somewhere to sit to rest as well as a stash box for goodies or mail. My one complaint is that they do not ship to Alaska, and I had to have it sent to California then pay the USPS to send it by camel to Alaska.

This walker adjusts to multiple heights easily and can be disassembled easily for transport when traveling. It moves easily and the brakes work very well. There are hand brakes and also a parking brake so you can stop and have a sit down without worrying about rolling anywhere. It folds pretty flat with one hand and has a pin to lock it into the folding position. This seller showed me sever different walkers and this one was the most adjustable and had the easiest adjustment and assembly.
