Prestige Import GroupCrystal Gel Humidification Beads for Humidors - 4 oz Bag

I've been using these crystal gel humidifier beads for a few months now and I'm very happy with them. They're easy to use and they keep my humidor at a consistent humidity level. I've also noticed that my cigars seem to be aging better since I started using them. Pro tip, however - use way less than you think you actually need. These things suck up so much water and expand that your pan/tray will quickly overflow and make a mess if you put in too many!

Instead of buying the yearly replacement tank for my Cigar Oasis Plus 3.0, I decided to try these beads. I carved out the green foam from the old tank, and filled it with hydrated beads. I scaled down the instructions for hydrating the beads (1/2 tablespoon of beads and 3 cups of distilled water made more than enough). This product has enough beads to last for many years, for less than the cost of one replacement tank.Bonus: I put the leftover hydrated beads in a small Tupperware bowl along with a handful of dried-out 69% Bovedas. After two days, the Bovedas were rehydrated, good as new!

Charge with distilled water and forget for a long time (if used in an Igloodor and lined with cigar box cedar strips).

Easy to use, cheaper than purchasing already filled jars. So far they work great, expect the package to last a long time as not the entire package is used.

Perfect refill for a humidor, but be careful! Easy to load too much but that's operator error!A little goes a long way and this will offer multiple refills for medium to large humidifiers...

I purchased these beads to refill my humidor devices in my humidors. The original beads are about 4 times the size of these beads. I would think that they will work just as well as the large ones. Only time will tell.

After reading through the reviews I was worried that I had wasted my money. Boy was I wrong.I think the instructions are a little off, but I put 2 tablespoons and 2 cups of water in this container. Woke up to a full container of beads. Very happy!

Fait parfaitement la job, faire attention, la premiere fois j’en est trop mis. Ca prend beaucoup d’expansion ! Avec un sac comme ca je suis bon pour 10 ans :)

Works like a charm, a small spoonful is honestly all you need for a 40 cigar box and I should think it brings about 1000 spoonfuls (it expands considerably when hydrated). I have been using the same spoonful for half a year, simply re-hydrating when needed. Probably one is all you ever need.
