Good product
I really like taking these so I’m getting a more plant based addition to my diet. I always like taking turmeric and this is an easy way to do just that

Not happy
Did not work for me at all. I have arthritis and hoped it would help with pain but it did not. Looking to change my diet and stay with Aleve.

Easier than Adding to Foods
It's pretty common knowledge these days that inflammation is the biggest cause of many deadly diseases. So much of what we do [and don't do] contributes to chronic inflammation - including consuming too much processed food (particularly sugar) and too little exercise. One easy to way to help counteract some of the bad things we do, is to ingest turmeric (the mild flavored spice that gives curry its distinctive yellow color). A while back, I purchased a large jar of powdered turmeric with the noble intention of adding it to my soups, stews and smoothies. Unfortunately, I never remembered and the plan kind of went by the wayside pretty quickly.Since that turned out to be an epic fail, I was pleased to be offered the opportunity to try the GenOne Labs Turmeric/Curcumin supplements. These are vegan and GMO free. They're basically large clear caplets filled with yellow powder, which I can only assume primarily consists of the spice itself. The recommended dose is three tablets per day (the jar, which contains 90, is a month's supply).I've been taking these daily for about two weeks and, while I don't notice any appreciable benefits, I also haven't suffered any averse side effects. Unlike fish oil tabs, they do not repeat on you or bring up any weird flavors (so not to worry, if you're a curry hater). I just love the convenience of getting my turmeric in a tablet that I can take with my other supplements without having to worry about remembering to add it to all my meals. It only loses one star for the amount of pills needed per day. I take vitamins once a day (after dinner) and, therefore, have been limiting my dosage to two pills per day (taken at once). I've never been a fan of supplements that have to be taken multiple times during the day. It just becomes too much like a chore. Other than that, these are recommended.

Hematologist Gave Me an Okay to Take
I know that curcumin, a natural component of turmeric, is supposed to be good for you, especially for inflammation issues. I also know that if you take warfarin (I don't) or some other medications or have medical issues, you should check with your doctor before taking. I have a medical condition for which I take a very expensive drug, and my research shows that there are promising studies that show curcumin may help alleviate that disease. So I checked with my hematologist before starting this drug, and she gave me the go-ahead to use it in moderate doses. I am hopeful that this supplement helps, but it's not easy to know.I love that the supplement, including the capsules, are vegan. Lots of capsules are gelatin based. They are easy to swallow, and a daily dose is 3 capsules so the capsules are not too large. The only thing I don't like is that I can't find a country of origin or manufacture on the bottle. Am I just overlooking it? Possible, but I really tried, unsuccessfully.
