Lee Filters 1/4 CTO 24x21 Gel Filter Sheet

I had a very expensive built-in cabinet installation done in my living/dining room in 2016 and always felt very unsatisfied with the color temperature of the LED lights that were put in. They had a cool grey/blue tone I hated and differed from the rest of my lighting plan. In a small space it made a big negative because the difference looked ugly!I lived with this for about a year before I had enough and started researching what I could do to fix it. Little did I know, that for less than $20,00, my problem could be solved! I put the color correction lighting gels on tonight and the entire room is transformed! Inviting, relaxing, cozy. Misleading product image. The swatch book shown prominently in the image for this product is NOT included. I understood that I was going to be getting the single color 21 x 24 sheet, but also expected to receive the swatch book as well. The image needs to be changed to reflect that the swatch book isn’t included.

So my contractor installed a new LED string of light in my family room on a high shelf that lights artifacts and provides ambient light to the room. This replaced an older incandescent string that was hot and used too much energy. Only problem was the color temperature of the new LED was too high (5000 or 6000K.) So instead of going thru the hassle of changing the LED out for a 2700 or 3000K string, I bought one sheet of this filter, and cut it in one inch strips, and laid it over the string, securing each piece of filter with a piece of tape and... voila !!.. the temperature of the new LED string now very close to about 3000K. Worked like a charm for $10.

If you have never been involved with live theater you would now know about these. But what a great asset to home lighting--especially if you have solar lights that get a little too bright.

Double up for 1/2 CTO, or at 1/4 gives just a hint of warmth. Can also be used with the 1/2 CTO sheet.The large size of the sheet can be cut to fit any flash and allowed me to make many gels. So much nicer and than buying pre-cut gels.

Bought this to use in my RV's LED light fixtures.LED lighting is so sterile looking it's horrible.So we cut out 26 circles about 3 inch diameter to put in the fixtures.Turned the light from horrible sterile white to a nice warm hue.

I used this gel sheet to change the looks of some bright led spot lights. They are now indistinguishable from incandescent lights. I went from 10 50W bulbs to 10 6W bulbs. I couldn't be more pleased with the results.
