Time hopefully will "heal" this as the leather should give and not be as stiff. The card pockets are too deep and they make it difficult to grab the leading edge to remove the wanted card for use... but they are held in the wallet fine and don't appear to be able to slip out while in my pocket.I like the design and it looks good. The money clip functions as it should and I have no problems with that.I would buy it again, but I would show it to friends and family and not make any recommendation either way. I would let them decide if they liked it or not. I've had better, but the local shop I purchased my leather goods from before this has closed... so off to Amazon I went. All said and done, its okay, but I wish I could find a local leathersmith again that makes them the right way (at least to what I described to the fellow when I've had other wallets made). I've had one made for me and it was only $10.00 to have a "custom" wallet... but the fellow either moved or went out of business.

I'm a long-time fan of 'no-fold' wallets, but this one is just as thick as a bi-fold.Leather seems good and sturdy. I like the ID window on the outside, about 1/8-1/4" is hidden by the border, but it still displays all necessary info. (Hides the state name at the top of a CA drivers license) Cards all sit at the same depth, so your terraced pockets behind the money clip aren't staggered, they just stack on top of each other. Not bad since the front card is most used and sticks out the most. (1/2")The money functions fine, but I've never seen a wallet use such big magnets before. These magnets are big. I assumed they were earth-magnets, but they seem more like your regular fridge magnets sewed into pockets. It holds the cash just fine and opens nice and wide, but it feels as thick as a bi-fold without any cash!No, it doesn't format credit-card strips. It does have an effect on a few smartphones though, turning the screen on or triggering 'docking mode', but doesn't effect the screen display at all.I will be buying a different wallet when this one wears out. Something thinner.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this item at this price. The leather is soft and supple and stitching appears to be well done. The magnet holds bills securely, but makes it easy to slip them out. It's a definite improvement over my old, spring clip holder, which was worn out.That said, there are a few issues, though none so large as to make the effort of returning worth my time. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the wallet I received did not have the stated "5 Card Slots and an ID Window" shown in the photos and description. It had one ID window (which is too small to show an entire driver's license), and one end slot for cards. That's it.Other than being sent a different product than what I ordered, I am pleased with this wallet and eager to see how well it wears.UPDATE 7/9/2012: After contacting the seller regarding the difference between what was pictured and described and the wallet I received, they responded very quickly by sending me the correct wallet and telling me I needn't return the original. That's customer service you certainly can't fault, and for that, I raised my rating to five stars.

I read a lot of reviews that put this product down pretty hard. I went for it anyway and I'm glad I did. I didn't see any of the defects people were saying. I quess they corrected all that. I don't have ANY issue with the magnet. It doesn't grab anything except the other half it should. I put over $350 on the clip consisting of $20s $10s and $5s. No problems. The magnet held it all great. I don't worry about the money falling or anything. It holds all my cards and I really like the windows in the side for my license. Oh and that window is straight and tight. I feel just fine about this purchase and recommend it to anybody else who needs a clip. It's not too big but it's big enough to hold your cards and not show all your money when it's folded and placed behind the magnet. I'm happy!

I purchased this wallet for a few reasons. The primary reason was the price. For the price, the quality is good. The wallet does smell like new leather should and it appears to be made well enough for this price point. The stitching is somewhat wavy and not perfect but not enough to affect the look or feel of the wallet.The second reason I bought it was because it said it was a mini wallet. Unfortunately, it isn't very mini. It appears to be a normal size wallet which is fine for holding stuff but it is a bit bulky in the pocket with the magnetic money clip.I'm very happy with the wallet for the price but I would've liked it to be a bit more mini.

This is the second time I've ordered this wallet and, while I still like it, I my first one was better. They changed the design since my first purchase which held more cards and was easier to extract the cards from when needed. This new version is also a bit wider and thus not quite as comfortable in my pocket. Despite those minor quibbles, it is still a fine wallet with a strong money clip and a nice thin design.

I needed to replace an aging bifold wallet and wanted something low profile for my front pocket.I'm normally not a money clip guy, but I like the functionality of this magnetic clip. I rarely carry cash, and the clip is good for securing the wallet in my storage cup by the front door. It has enough card slots to accomodate what I need. It's solidly built and nicely thick leather. The magnet does make it heavier than you'd expect, but that doesn't bother me. My only complaint is that it could use a slot in the ID window to make removing the ID easier. I suspect as the leather stretches, it won't be as big of a deal.
