Expect to get wet
As you can see from the pictures, I did not stay completely dry. Granted, this was from my 30 minute commute from work in front of Hurricane Michael on October 10, 2018 so the rain was pretty hard and after about 30 minutes, this was all that was wet. So I stayed mostly dry, but if I was going into work for the day and got caught in a rainstorm, I wouldn't want to have a wet back side all day. The collar is pretty tight as well and I couldn't zip it all the way up. The velcro collar helped, but even as loose as it could go was still almost choking.I was impressed when I first took it out of the packaging. The material feels pretty sturdy. The velcro over the zipper helps keep water out. The seat of the pants is even reinforced with a stronger material. But it does leak. I'll get a silicone sealant spray for the seat and see if that helps. For the money, not a bad rain suit. Keeps about 80% of my body dry in a heavy wind. So that is why I've rated it 3 stars. I ordered it a while ago but it just hasn't rained until now. Window for return has gone so I think I'll get a silicone sealant spray for the seat and see if that helps.

does the job well. well designed. durable
keep in mind, it's designed to go OVER your motorcycle gear. so if you wear a medium jacket, it's a medium suit to go over the jacket...that out of the way, this suit does exactly what you'd expect. it keeps the water off you when you ride in a torrential rain of some sort. Yes it does that very well. The loops at the bottom of the legs are a great idea since they keep the legs down and the moisture out cause your pants arent climbing up. The hiviz orange and reflective stripe makes me a little more comfortable that someone may see me in a dark rainy night. yeah cagers are blind, but every little bit helps.each half folds up into about a water bottle sized roll. definitely packable enough for any trip just in case.now i need to find some gloves and booties to match it. hands are soaked and cold as are the feet. maybe viking makes something (gonna check in a bit)

Fits Like A Big, Plastic Glove
Looking outside at the pouring rain used to force me to decide between two options: getting soaked, or waiting for the rain to pass. Now that I purchased this rain gear, I have a third option: stay mostly dry, but look like a colossal dork. From the first moment I strap into XXL Hefty bag they installed zippers on, I know any amount of bad a&$ biker dude is off the table. But at least I'll be dry right? Well, sort of. This sheet of plastic wrap with arm holes does keep the water out, but it also keeps it in. The nature of this product means that it cannot have vents, which I understand and don't fault it for. That doesn't mean it's pleasant zippering myself into a sauna suit. I get almost as wet from sweat as I would if I'd just ridden without it. If this were the only downside to staying (sort of) dry, there would be a higher rating above my rant. Unfortunately though, there are a few other issues. The biggest is that, while I ordered the size recommended, it fits more like I've rolled myself into my motorcycle cover, not something made for a human being. The excess plastic under my arms flaps around like I've recently lost 300lbs. It actually blocks my side mirrors because it sticks out so far. When moving, this plastic blubber flies around behind me and turns my body into a wind sock. I look like Santa Claus in a wind tunnel. No amount of cool could make this look work for them. Even Steve McQueen couldn't pull off a PVC dinner jacket like this. My Kawasaki Vulcan turns into a Chevy Lumina. I turn into such a goober that guys on scooters give me the "poor guy" look I used to cast upon them. At least I've had to take a look in the mirror and grow as a person. I know the point of the gear isn't to look good (and they nailed that) but it's so excessively baggy and unflattering that it feels like they completely forget that it's technically clothing (even if it is made from what feels like recycled water bottles.) The excess room makes sense because it goes over your other clothes, but no one is wearing this with a shirt, jacket, parka, turtle neck, and Kevlar body armor all at once underneath. It just isn't comfortable or flattering. Had they fitted it better, I'd have really liked the gear. But it seems like they used an inflatable dummy for measurements, over inflated it, then added a few more inches just in case.

Great rain gear! Love the price! Love the colors! Love the features! Love the price!
This is my second set of rain gear and probably my last!!! Doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. Works great. Lots of features not on other brands. My first set of rain gear was around the same price and made by the big name frogg toggs. They didn’t last 3rides before ripping. The Viking cycle rain gear has never let me down. It has many more features than the big name ones. For instance it has a stretch spot in the center of the back so it won’t flap. Has buttons around the wrist to tighten an keep the rain out. Mesh backing inside the jacket. Nice deep pockets. Lots of color choices. Was around the same price point as name brands, but is sooo much better. Good product again Viking cycle with a great price!!
