Decent PSU with one considerable drawback (noise)
It's a SeaSonic PSU with that SeaSonic quality. However, this is definitely a no-frills OEM unit so things like low noise probably weren't a consideration here. My unit does have an audible ticking sound, and the fan is definitely audible, enough to be noticed in a quiet room.

Ok but consistent loud buzzing.
Fan gets loud, an annoying buzzing hum, while I'm running a game. Other than that it's ok.

Quiet, but not completely silent
This Seasonic SS-600ES 600W 80 Plus Bronze ATX12V V2.31 Power Supply does have an audible electrical sounding lo-level hum the whole time it is running, and the sound has nothing to do with its internal fan. However, thus far at least, the Power Supply is quiet enough (and powerful enough) so that the electrical hum is not bothersome to me.It arrived quicker than expected; and was reasonably well packed (lots of bubble plastic) inside a larger sized cardboard box. The power supply (PS) does not include a power cable (from PS to external electrical outlet); but no problem, just use the one from the PS you are replacing. It would be worth your while to have a few cable ties on hand, because this PS has plenty of cables, not all of which will be used (at least not in my case), and the cables may need to be zip-tied out of the way of fans (CPU, Graphic Cards, Case fans, etc.), and so as not to prevent airflow inside the case. This PS was used to replace the failing one in my HP Pavilion Elite e9270f. It installed 'almost' without any difficulty: I had to bend back one of the corners of the rear metal casing of this HP case (next to one of the case's screw holes used to secure the PS) so as to allow the PS to flush tightly against the case and enable the screw to screw into the PS housing without obstruction. And that was it. All cables hooked up, flipped the PS switch to ON, and pressed the ON button on the HP desktop and we were once again off to the races, all working as it should.
