I currently have a small box full of various grips that I've tried and just didn't work for me. The smooth ones are too slippery, the checkered ones rubbed and irritated, the rubber ones grabbed my shirt and printed. But from the moment I put these on my S&W 340 M&P, I knew it was a match made in heaven. I have a S&W 340 PD also and I'm going to order another pair of these grips. I've tried them with Pocket Carry and IWB carry. If you carry a S&W J Frame, these are your grips. Big enough and checkered just enough for an excellent grip, yet smooth enough and compact enough for concealment. Now my Wife wants a set of these also.

These are some of the best grips on the market today.They fit perfectly and are good looking.The Dimond grips are my favorite and if your looking for a good solid grip for your J-Frame you can't do any better than these.The Dimond checkering is so precisely done and sharp but will not hang up on your shirt or jacket due to the nature of the G-10 that they are made of.If you are looking for a synthetic grip with the look of wood and the durability of G-10 these are the best, a little expensive but you get what you pay for,if you want quality you have to pay for it. Nice looking grips, my issue is even with small hands the grips are very hard to get a good grip to control the weapon from the point of attempting to remove the weapon from the holster to actually firing it. For that reason I returned them for a refund.

Not much to say other than my opinion—for me these grips are perfect. If you do fire a lot of rounds, it tends to bother my hand (regardless of ammo type), otherwise perfect. Fit was also perfect on j frame. Does not interfere with clothing. This is better than many others I tried over the years—not too smooth & not overly gripping.

I wanted to replace my factory grips on my S&W 642 because I did not like how the rubber grabbed the inside of my pocket and I wanted something different. I looked at different grips and did some research and decided to get the VR grips. I was a bit concerned because the checkering was described as "aggressive" but decided to order the textured version. The checking is nice and you feel the grip in you hand and it's comfortable. I shot a few rounds with the VZ grip on then switched back to the factory grips and fired 5 more rounds the switched back to the VZ grips and I will never take them off the gun again. I have put a few hundred rounds though the gun with the VZ grips on and I still like them a lot. To me the grips make a noticeable difference and look great. The folks at VZ do great work and are very nice folks. I am thinking of buying another gun just so I can order more VZ grips.

These are really nice grips. on an S&W 642, they work really well. The tactical diamonds have a nice texture. It's rough, but doesn't chew up your hands, and provides a good grip on the gun. The Hyena brown color looks fantastic on the stainless finish as well. My one complaint is that when you install them, they're a close tolerance fit. Which is a good thing except for if you need to remove them. They fit really snug, and are rather difficult to remove. It's both a good and bad thing. Good that they fit well, and aren't loose, but they're also really hard to take off which is annoying.

Twenty dollars more than basically the same grip from Hogue which I own 5 of, but Hogue doesn't offer this color. Very nice grip and perfect fit. They should provide the proper wrench for the screw but they don't. This may be coming across as slightly negative but it's not meant to. Just pointing out some facts. I definitely am 100% satisfied and give it two thumbs up. But it is very very expensive in my humble opinion.
