3" vent covers are hard to find. Needed two. Installed them with no issues. They look good.

Used for venting for my laser engraver with a 3” blower motor coming from an enclosure.

These are 3" hooded vent covers, which are hard to find even online. Box stores typically sell only 4", which seems to be the standard. The plastic is very thin, so I'm not sure how long they'll last. I replaced louvered vent covers from my bathroom exhaust fans. The louvered covers fell apart probably due to the hot Carolina sun. The one to the left is the original 4" vent from my dryer. I removed the original covers, wiggled the flexible exhaust ductwork out and re-taped the metal sleeve to the ductwork with foil tape from Home Depot. I secured the new covers with stainless steel screws so as to avoid rusting. I also affixed the grill covers since these are just bathroom vents. Time will tell how long they'll last but the original louvered vents only lasted 5 years. Hope this helps.

The original aluminum 50+ year-old laundry vent on my house finally fell apart. Like other buyers, I found it was difficult to locate a 3" vent pipe in a local brick-and-mortar store. This item came with all the parts needed (plastic hood, flapper, critter guard (removable), aluminum tailpiece, inside wall frame), fully-assembled, and extremely well-packaged. The tailpipe going through the brick is not as sturdy as the original, but definitely works just fine. The flapper is quiet, but I may remove the critter screen -- we never had one previously, and it didn't cause problems for us. I find every time I walk by now, I'm pulling out some small piece of lint - no big deal in reality.By with confidence! This is a great replacement laundry vent for older homes.

Would not fit to attaching pipe. Material was flimsy. Ended up buying a section of pipe and used the plastic vent cover on the end.

If you have an existing platic molding around your outside dryer vent the square collar that comes with it may not flush against it,.nor will the screw holes. There are no screws included. Make sure you get the appropriate diameter for the pipe portion. Most are 4" and mine is 3" so had to search for a 3" one. Also some are white, some brown and some aluminum. I ended up sending two back because the square collars didn't fit my outside molding so had to get one with a round collar

Even though it’s a bit flimsy, fit perfectly inside a 3” core through my concrete wall. Hard to find that size.

Works great with my compact dryer. It has a cage design under it to keep out critters. Easy to install. I have adjusted it to keep the damper open at all times to lessen my drying time cause it definitely makes a difference with my compact dryer.
