Breaking Bad TV Series [180 gm 5 x 10 inch Vinyl]

Such an excellent and unusual TV series really deserves a music treatment like this.Music was actually quite limited during these series and not used generously, but when it was, the choices were very good and had real impact, in much the same way as music in Tarantino movies does. There is Mexican, dub, hip-hop, traditional ballads, rock...its all here and a very eclectic and interesting mix.This set is obviously smaller than average due to the 10 inch vinyl, and separating the music into a disc for each series makes sense logically and in terms of presentation, with an appropriate sleeve and artwork for each. The outer box is sturdy and has great artwork/printing.The extras are great, with a really interesting and informative guide booklet following each disc and each track, a big, high-impact poster and amusing Gus ID badge! The photography and printing is stunning and really brings back memories from the series.The discs are somewhat variable in colour, but have an obvious crystal blue tint. Most importantly they play with low noise and the pressing quality seems good. Dynamics and sound staging are good.I always clean my vinyl on a record cleaning machine and these benefitted as they come in (high quality) paper sleeves, which can shed bit of pulp and dust. I added my own anti-static poly sleeves inside the original ones.Be a bit aware of quality control issues. The first set I obtained from another vendor was not packaged safely and the box was slightly damaged (fools!). On disc 2 there was a slight, but annoying, pop on each disc rotation and disc 5 had a lot of paper debris embedded in it, which didn't affect playback but looked weird and different from the other 4. I returned it.If you get a good copy this is an awesome box set and possibly quite a collectable one due to the limited edition of 5000 and series popularity.

Great for a Breaking Bad fan or a Soundtrack collector!Amazing quality vinyls in a famous blue colour, the down side for this vinyl collection would be there is no mp3 downloads which would of been nice to have and the poster had white creese marks across it, but it still looks great!

great sounding box set,a little annoying that they are 10in records but they are very well produced with a lot of great music and well worth the money.
