Arcknight minis are the best, most affordable miniatures solution today.
Pros:Price. I grew up playing D&D with the official plastic minis (3rd edition era) and when I recently got back in to the game I found the prices completely prohibitive. I wanted to quickly buy a wide range of minis so I could be prepared for anything my players wanted to do, but there was no way I could afford enough traditional figures to accomplish this. I tried going through Reaper, and I like them, but the cost just too much for me. I bought eight minis from Reaper and 62 Arcknight minis for the same cost (I own the Mankind pack and the Ancient Evils pack). No Painting Required. I played games like Warhammer 40k for years, and I loved spending hours and hours painting each mini. But that was high school, I just don't have that kind of time anymore. Arcknight minis are colorful and evocative without needing to spend hours on painting, which lets me be more flexible with my games.Maybe this is a side note, but I found these really helped me be creative when creating encounters in my D&D game. I set up what I thought would look and feel cool, and played more loosely with the rules. The Beholder was a Beholder, but the wispy spirit things were something I made up on the spot. It was a cool feeling to roll with what sort of thing.Cons:The only things I can think of are 1) sometimes the printing seems to be a little too light, and some faces on pale characters don't come through as boldly as they could, and 2) be careful when taking them out of the sheets they're printed on. There's a danger zone where the base inserts of two minis touch, if you aren't thinking of it you can damage the part of the figure which is meant to be inserted in to the base.Overall I love these. I have a large order on the way, and I can't wait to see what Arcknight does next. Now if only I can get my players' schedules to line up again...

Worth Every Penny and More
I’d like to start this review by saying that if there is a better value for tabletop minis, I don’t know what it would be. In games past, my group and I have typically bought figurines for our PCs from whatever stock was available at our friendly local gaming store, and then used whatever was available (usually just a dice or a coin) to represent enemies and NPCs. Thanks to this set, essentially every need for townsfolk and city NPCs is covered. My favorite part about these minis is the vivid and detailed color. Painting figurines can be expensive and time consuming, and this set eliminates the need to do that. I also enjoy the wide variety of figures included. There are genetic townsfolk but also horsemen, carriages, even children NPCs.Once slotted into the included plastic bases, the minis stand with good stability. 8 bases are included with a set; I bought multiple sets so I have plenty but if you only purchase one or two sets you might want to consider buying some extra bases from the manufacturer’s website.Overall this is a really excellent and diverse set of minis and for less than 50 cents apiece, you really can’t go wrong. I highly recommend if you’re looking to start a minis collection or just want to try something new!

The perfect solution for GM's on the go.
Bought these as an alternative to transporting a ton of minis. I was skeptical, but I have to admit they look great. Feel sturdy, and have great front and back art. All your favorite monsters, heros and NPC's at hand that can be stored in a single folder. I'm stoked, to try 'em out.

Good price, great art
Good price, great art, very very thin plastic and awkward to insert bases. A thicker material would be nice.

Very good but be careful with them
Very good minis for the price and the different sets pretty much cover any scenario for your future campaigns. That said the paint can be scratched off from the back so be careful. It would also help to have a list of what is what like for the DM starter set. I reccomend buying a pack of different size baggies and labels to keep them organized.

Great value for miniatures
Perfect for D&D. Much more economical than 3D miniatures and cost-effective. More durable and slimmer than paper miniatures. I've purchased several of these sets and am able to cover almost any encounters that come up. I really like the art style. The print quality can vary between print runs; most are good, but I had a set with faded/see-through colors and misaligned perforations. The miniatures have a front and a back and have nice durable stands. They fit a 1" grid or hex system though because of the stands, they sit a little high on the tabletop.
