1 pack. Strong, waterproof, fast setting copper coloured epoxy putty for instant repairs to pipes, radiators, tanks and cylinders. Review: I used this product to stop two small leaks in solder joints in my central heating pipes. It was easy to mix and use, and seems to have worked well - no leaks so far! Also, it saved me the job of draining the system to below the problem area, which I would have had to do if I'd decided to attempt to re-solder the leaking fittings. I have a combi boiler, which is a sealed system, so I drained a small amount of water from one of the radiators before starting just to relieve the pressure on the solder joints and reduce the leakage. In fact, doing this stopped the leaks altogether while I carried out the repair, but the manufacturers say the product can be applied in wet or damp conditions anyway. Make sure you clean the area thoroughly first; I used a wire brush and then gave the area a wipe with a clean cloth before applying the putty. Time will tell whether or not it's a permanent fix, but if the joints don't start leaking again I shan't be bothering to replace or re-solder them! Review: This product didn't work for me. Made sure I bought the correct putty for the job (adheres to copper), followed all the instructions but next day the putty was lifting at the edges and water still escaping. Put another layer on, especially round the edges, held it in place till my arms were screaming, looked OK but next morning, lifting at the edges again ☹️ Ended up having to buy leak fixing tape to tape over it. Bearing in mind this was only a small leak where the pipe joined the tank.

I bought some of this some years ago and was pleased with the outcome at that time. When I needed something recently to seal a small leak in a central heating pipe, this was the simple choice. Just cut off sufficient to do the job, knead it to fully mix the two parts and apply to the area required. It sets hard in a few minutes and is able to sanded, cut etc after a further period. It drys to a brown colour so can be a little conspicuous depending where you use it. Brilliant product and simple to use.

Excellent product. Mix small amounts and count for around a minute whilst mixing in hands - DO wear disposable gloves because as well as avoiding mess on your skin it also helps to retain moisture in the product. Apply quickly after mixing and press into place firmly. Dries copper colour and is very very hard. Well pleased with product, and I still have a lot left over. Applied on a dry clean copper/brass surface so I cannot comment on its application onto wet parts.
