Great pants, exactly as pictured
Very nice pants. Exactly as pictured. They aren't really a dark blue as described, they are more charcoal black with a slight bit of dark blue....I like the color and ordered them because of the picture. They are exactly the same size as ordered. I wear a 32 x 32 in a Costco/Kirkland Jean and they fit just like those at the waist and inseam. They are not a skinny jean, they are a bit loose fit which I would rather have. Also there is definitely Kevlar, there is a label in the pants that says "Reinforced protective lining 60% Kevlar, 40% Polyester. In addition, there is a zipper on the back of the waist band, which I believe is for attaching/sewing to your jacket so it doesn't fly up in the wind while riding and to un-hook it you just unzip it. Also the knee pads sit right where they should when you bend your legs in a riding position. When you stand they're fine and not that noticeable There are also pockets in the hips to insert CE foam hip protectors. I like them!

Inseam Too Short, Knee Pads Too High
I'm 5'11" and 200 pounds. The size 34 jeans fit good at the waist, but the inseam was 3 inches too short. I'd call these a size 34x31. The knee pads ride too high on the knee when standing. They should be centered on the knee when in a sitting position. If you have a bit longer than average legs, these will not work. The materials and craftsmanship for the jeans seems good.

Save your Money
Ok first a bit of creds, I just turned 60, yet I still regularly ride my CBR1000RR.Being a little more conservative in my riding now and the fact that my full leathers just do not fitlike they once did and properly should; I bought a new riding jacket and wanted something more casual to complement them and provide some protection.............hence the Bilt Jeans.Save your money......just buy a good pair of Carhartt or others heavy weight denim jeans with double knees and put the savings in your pocket. These jeans are not even heavy denim. I would say it is stretching things to say "medium weight" The Kevlar liner is pretty ridiculous not really covering areas where a down Rider would need skid protection. The knee pads are 1/4 thickness and if you were in a Bicycle accident they would probably provide the wearer with adequate protection. It is obvious to me that whoever designed these jeans has never even spoken to someone who had to get off a motorcycle at speed. But....you got me.....I paid the exorbitant shipping rates charged and even coughed up the $70 bucks for the jeans...but believe me...............it only happens once.

Knee pads, Baggy, feel good.
They are 1st and foremost baggy. Hip hop baggy. It is heavier than regular jeans, walked 2 miles in them with the knee pads in and they feel good. Rode my ZX6R with them on and the knee pads leave the whole side of the knee exposed because the pads sort of tilt in towards the inner legs ↘️↙️ I would rather they tilt outwards to protect the side of my knee cap. The bagginess works well with my zx6r riding position as it allows for the pants leg to stay on the boots. I would have to say these would be great if they were not so baggy. 1 positive thing is, as a urban rider in NYC these pants allow me to wear less desirable but better protection under such as knee/shin guards. The size is true waist wise. I ordered 32 and they fit snug. Back of the pants have a attached zipper flat to connect to riding jackets with same attachment. Not many choices out there but for a 1st buy I am satisfied . After a two rides on my motorcycle I am not that happy with them.

High quality Protective Jeans!
I don't like my baby boy(he's 22) on a bike but when he asked me to order these through my account, I saw they have like kevlar in the knees?! I was thrilled to know he's using gear that protects him while he rides the Harley. The leather jacket, helmet & boots, great And, now he's got Jeans reinforced with Kevlar SO GREAT!!! It eases my mind a bit more. And, I wash them, on a gentle cold cycle and hang them dry. They're very high quality and well made. These are an excellent purchase for sure, especially for bikers!

i would return if id remember to before i ran out of time
knee pads ride below my knees. way too long and waist is too big... thought maybe they'd shrink which is why i didnt return... but the shrink was almost nonexistent.... the pads are also weird hard rubberish stuff but thick. like 3/4 in. for a motorcycle jean thats a thick pad especially since theres not alot of give to it

Good considering the price, but...
As jeans, these seem to do fine. They fit me properly, they're nicely styled, and I've even gotten compliments on the look of them.As riding gear, they're a bit sub-par compared to other riding denim, even in the same sub-$100 price category: the Kevlar coverage is minimal, especially in the seat; it's applied in a bikini shape leaving your hips exposed to abrasion rather than shaped like boxers as most jeans have. The CE-rated knee armor, while well-placed (at least in my case - see other reviews) protects just the knee; my shins are on their own. And because of the padding around the armor pocket, my other armor doesn't fit under these jeans comfortably with the stock armor removed. They lack the mesh comfort liner of most Kevlar jeans to mitigate heat transfer and help air circulation while you ride so you stay cool, so I wear these when it's a bit cooler. These are a step-up from riding in Levis or other street denim for not much more than some people spend on fashionable jeans, but there is room for improvement; for another $20 or so you can avoid the shortcomings these have, but if price is your primary concern better these than riding unprotected.

Solid and safe...see sizing info below....
Sizing is right and pants are what I expected. I do suggest getting a pair one size longer on inseam than you would normally buy. They are almost a bit short when riding. The wind blows them up above the boot laces when using without leather chaps.
