These were purchased for work events. The all black style and pull out/retractable belts is sleek and professional. They arrived in good condition and assembly is very easy, the pole snaps right into the base. Base is weighted and has be used indoors and outdoors with no worries of tipping over. Really happy we purchased these instead of continuing to rent. Would buy again if more are needed in the future.

Bought these for line control for my event company. Worked perfectly for that. Cost was exceptionally good for the quality. They aren't metal, but are very dense plastic--but well within the stability and durability for this type of use. Only note is that they can't be dissembled once put together--so keep that in mind for storage. Would definitely buy more if needed.

Worked out perfectly for our application. We're using them in an industrial manufacturing shop to segregate different jobs. They can be bumped by both people and fork trucks and still stay standing. I'll be purchasing more as we get more jobs. Oh, and being made in the USA is a huge bonus.

I bought these for a charity event when I realized that the local company wanted to charge me $150 for a 12 hour RENTAL of only 3 stanchions and 2 velvet ropes. These are not the most elegant of options but they are perfectly adequate for the job. They tend to lean a bit by the end of the day, but they do the job. I solved the leaning by rotating each stanchion halfway through the event and that worked fine. Again, not the best, but the cat rescue now OWNS crowd control instead of renting it several times a year for more than the cost of purchasing these stanchions. And...I no longer have to schlepp stanchions back to the rental place at the end of a grueling day of event set up and take down. Now I can drive home, grab a glass of wine, and collapse into my recliner knowing that the stanchions are safe in the back of my car which doesn't need to be unloaded until I get to it. Priceless.

This product is NOT durable. The boxes were slightly damaged when they arrived, but not too much that would look like it damaged the stanchions. The failure was in the most important part of the stanchion — the retractable belt. 2 of them arrived broken. This company needs to do quality control. I ordered this product last minute. Big mistake. It came a day before my event. If you need something like this, order it as soon as possible to give you enough time to inspect the product, contact Amazon or the company, and get a replacement. The price is enticing, but if you want it to last, make the investment and buy something else. This product was such a disappointment.

I really like the Weight Sentry Stanchion. This is my second order for them. We use them to control and direct people in our Church Facilities. They look great, are super easy to assemble, takes more time to open the box than it does to assemble, due to the one push assembly method. They are sturdy, yet easily moved and they are easy to clean. I can see myself buying this product over and over as our needs require.

I use these outdoors year round at a water park... they all break in the same spot.. right above the base. They hold up well in the weather and rain and dont scratch that pool decks.. but you will get a few months of use and will need new ones.
