The notorious killer doll with the satanic smile comes back to life in this new chapter depicting the terrifying struggle between young Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) and the demonic doll attempting to possess his soul. Despite being roasted to a crisp in his last escapade, Chucky rises from the ashes after being reconstructed by a toy factory to dispel the negative publicity surrounding the doll. Back in one piece, Chucky tracks his prey to a foster home where the chase begins again in this fiendishly clever sequel to the enormously popular original.Bonus Content: Theatrical Trailer

Hows it hangin Phil? ;) Sorry Jack Chucky's Back!
Film Name: Child's Play 2Year Made: 1990Overview: Young Andy Barclay now lives in a foster home after the horror he experienced from his good guy doll, Chucky. As time has passed, the toy company that once made the good guy doll line is back up and in business. What that also means is Chucky's back and ready to play a new game that he likes to call "hide the soul"The Package: 3 StarsThe cover is really cool with Chucky, as well as some cool graphics on the disc itself. There is a insert included when you open up the case that includes chapter scene names and a few pictures from the movie. As far as bonus features, the trailer is included along with some bio and production notes but it's pretty basic. This film is in widescreen which is great, but sadly, no closed caption on this one. The disc is held in place very secure and not to hard to pop out, although I found this case a bit harder to pop the disc out compared to the push button kind where you push in the center and the disk pops up, those are the best.Spook Meter: 3 StarsChild's Play 2 is not very scary, but it does have some spooky parts here and there. Chucky talks quite a bit throughout this film and has a lot of really funny one line sayings that any fan of the Chuck is going to love. What you get here is some spooky scenes mixed with a lot of funny things that Chucky says that will make you laugh at the same time. The overall result is a smile on your face and a horror film that is not overly intense/scary but is very enjoyable to watch. I must note that normally I don't like to mix much humer with horror films, but in this film as well as the other Child's Play films, it really works well.Gore/Violence Meter: 3 StarsHorror fans who love tons of blood will find this to be pretty mild as far as blood level is concerned. I will say there are some really cool death scenes though that left me feeling like Chucky made sure to get some great kills and I walked away at the end feeling happy.Profanity Meter: 4 StrikesThere is a lot of profanity in this film, be warned.Sexual Meter: 1 StrikesThere is no nudity, no in bed scenes, no make out scenes, no nothing! Anyone offended by sexual themes, have nothing to worry about while watching this.Final Thoughts:Chucky is a lot of fun to watch and so I give this 5 stars overall. His laugh is simply the best and every time he laughs, I find myself laughing right along with him with a huge smile on my face. I'll agree with some reviewers that the Child's Play films get less scary as they progress but they sure are a lot of fun to watch. To me, less scary does not mean a less enjoyable horror film in all cases and this is one of those cases. I really enjoyed this and hope you do too.Thank you for reading my review!

Pretty Decent
Pretty Good Movie Overall! I really enjoyed the plot of this movie since it kept you on edge, however I felt that some of the plotlines could have been done a bit better and more action. The movie begins shortly after the first Child's Play and Andy has been placed in Foster Care and is taken to a Foster Family while his mother is receiving Psychiatric Treatment due to believing Chucky was real also. The fun begins after Chuck's soul is placed into a new Good Guy Doll and he goes after Andy for a second time, I'm not going to tell you the rest because it would ruin it. The film overall is pretty decent however but it does take a while to get into it and when the action and horror really does come into play. I would recommend this to an older audience member, obviously and someone who enjoys a great thriller and horror film!

Everything about it is perfect, and is better than the original.
The best out of the franchise, and delivers one of the greatest sequels of all time. It has a great finale and in every way it beats the original by a lot. Chucky is back better than ever with one of the greatest horror movies in history. Overall, it is a must watch but make sure to check out the first one before seeing this.
