Good buy. Would suggest 10/10 (Three years and one broken hinge later: 7/10)
A good buy. As far as I researched before my purchase, these specifications aren't available at the same price in any other models.I have been using this laptop for a month now and no problems yet. You'll need about 6-8 GB of data before you can settle down with the all updates available at the time of writing this review. Out of the box the laptop runs Windows 10 which takes about an hour of setting up and you are good to go after that, if you don't want to update. If you feel that the specs mentioned here are incomplete, search for "80SV001SIH" for the silver variant or "80SV001PIH" for the gun metal variant. If you are worried about the performance, runs NFS Rivals in Ultra. You can switch between CorelDraw and Photoshop seamlessly. If you are worried about the placement of the right shift key, I would say I haven't found it be a problem so far. I am now accustomed to use the left shift. I might update after a month or so, if I have anything to add.Update after 3 years: The hinge was flimsy, as mentioned in many sites. I bought against their advice and I paid for it. About a month ago, the hinge on the left side broke and I had to replace it with after-market spares. Taking down a star for the build quality. Performance wise, I am considering a system refresh but maybe it is just my usage that is slowing it down. Still will recommend it (against 2017 or 2018 models) 7 times out of 10. Newer alternatives are better though.

Battery draining like leakage ☺️
Battery is draining too fast that too even if it is shut down. Sometimes it gives feeling like leakage in it because there is no meaning of battery discharge when it is shut down. Right side Shift button too small which always gives big time issue.

A great buy in this range, excelled expectations
I dont understand the negative reviews. I bought this in June 2017 and till now i have had no issues. It has a good processor and graphics card. I have played tons of games on this including Far Cry 3, GTA 4 and 5 as well, CS GO, Mass Effect 2 etc, basically it can run all games before 2013-14 with great performance, only issue is the heating problem which i think every laptop will have while playing such games. Also the battery performance isnt affected after 3 years of constant gaming, laptop being plugged in most of the time. If it shows 2 hours, it will last for around that time while being used normally for browsing or something. The screen is antireflective which believe me is a big big boon, backlit keyboard is pretty cool too.On startup it can take like 3-4 minutes to get into the groove but after that it runs seamlessly.Overall im more than satisfied with the product, at this price you are getting one of the best specs and graphic card. Il probably buy Lenovo only after this slows down which doesnt look possible in the near future if you ask me. Ignore the negative reviews if you know how to use a device properly and not manhandle it.

Worst laptop for such a price
I bought this laptop online from Amazon. Overall it looked good, and I was in a bit urgent need as had to appear for the interviews.Touchpad - worst of its kind, I have to attach an external mouse and it looks so ugly to connect all the time this mouse with the long cable.HDD is so slow, that frequent slowness is observed. On looking task manager, it shows 'Disk Usage' exceeding 95% and it is so frequent that I even posted online to sell it for half. If multiple chrome tabs are open, your life is hell with this junk laptop.Anothe hell is windows-10 home ed. It is so slow. With this config, 8G ram is insufficient, almost always ram usage is above 90%.Whole body is so cheap that if u hold from one side u might feel it get broken from bottom with some sound of stress. Although it did not happen but left side of hand rest is broken just within few months usage.Dont waste your money on this laptop. Better to buy HP.

Monster of problems
I bought this last month and upon installing anything even chrome or winrar, it did not install. Touch pad went unresponsive, none of the games ran. Too many important dll files were missing in this laptop. Battery stopped working in 2 days. So i asked for return but amazon moved the case to lenovo and lenovo people tried sorting out the issue. I sent a video showing the unresponsiveness of the touchpad, but i got no response from Lenovo too. I did not even get replacement forget return. Ultimately i had to reinstall windows and now its working fine.If u love your 54k hard earned money, buy laptop from a shop. Never buy it online. There is a huge list of obstacles u need to face for getting it even replaced

review after a week's usage
been heavily using it for a week and yes battery at times can be a bit disappointing but apart from that everything else is a nice. Screen brightness can be an issue if you are anytime gonna use it under open sun as it can be a bit dull and difficult to see in direct sunlight else its good and produces good colours, I wont say vibrant but decent. Doesn't heat up much and is good for carrying around. Sound quality is excellent though I wish speakers had a little more base. Its a good buy for the money.

My rating is only based on the wrong product discribtion as it's based on the i7 version of the product, where this one is i5. Also in details it gives a wrong core count for processor. Please fix

Awesome product @55k in june 2017 but no bag from cloudtail at this price. Nvidia 4gb 940mx was the ultimate thing at this price. 1 yr McAfee and 1 yr warranty+ 1 yr Accidental Damage Protection. Also great looks and good speakers(not too loud) but best for budget gamers. So if you are worried about buying online then don't worry and go for it if prices are low as compared to local store
