Living in Michigan, you need great tires for everything the seasons throw at you. I bought these in preparation for winter 2025. Although we have had nothing but beautiful weather since I had them put on, today was my first scare with them! It was raining, not down pouring but enough to have the wipers going on medium. I was taking a 25mph on ramp to 94 at about 30-35mph. I've never not been able to do that, let's just say. Today I was sliding and had to slow down to about 15mph to gain traction again. So this is just an fyi with these tires, curves and wet roads. Be careful! Otherwise! - The ride is very smooth. Noise is at the lowest I've ever heard for tires. I've been very happy with these tires since the day they were put on. Just be careful on curvy, slick roads! Safe travels!

This is my first time using Hankook tires. They were recommended by a friend for my Monte Carlo SS. I have only driven about 50 miles so far but I am very pleased with the tires. I have only driven in dry conditions so I will add information once I get some wet weather driving in. They mounted up with no problems, although they did take a little more weight to balance 2 of them than I expected. I like that they make a variety of sizes to accommodate older cars and trucks and offer an alternative to BFG Radial TAs, which I have never been very impressed with. I replaced a set of Firestone Indy 500 tires that I really liked but they no longer make. I will update my review as I get more seat time.

I had owned a Hankook tire before, so when I chose this one, it was to replace a 205/55R16 tire, that had lowered my car's front end to the point of hitting speed bumps, and angled driveways. With this wider 225 width, it also improved my road contact for safer use. The 65 sidewall height gave me a much needed road clearance, to avoid scraping my front end underside. What I didn't expect, was the immense improvement in my road "feel", and smother feels over bumps, or potholes. I am buying another set for my back tires, replacing a fairly new set with these!
