I came here to write because I am probably one of we purchasers who actually used it in a dog fight. Our clench jaw 85 lb pit bit another dog recently. The stick was a life saver. It unclenched his jaw twice and didn’t break. I don’t see any signs of breaking atm. It’s scraped from his teeth but fine. Worked really easily and fast.

If you think you "might" need this then you do. We have a Belgian Malinois and a large Mastiff. This break stick is priceless. If you use it once it is worth the purchase price. It safely separates the dogs and the coating helps protect the dogs mouth from injury when you slide it in. This is the best break stick we have found. Safe for the dogs and their handlers when used correctly.

I LOVE this product and I don't ever leave reviews. I know that it says it's for training. I use this for breaking up dog fights between my dogs. Recently they have all started to fight a lot! I could never get my pitbull to let go once he's latched onto one of my other dogs. I would have to wait for him to let go on his own or adjust his grip to get them apart. This thing works wonders! You just slide it in and pry his mouth apart. I would strongly suggest having this on hand as a precaution. It has saved us TONS of vet visits!

I've been having issues with my dogs. One has some food aggression and even though we've had him 9 years, we made a mistake and he got into the kitchen and had cheeseballs everywhere. I didn't know when I let our other dog up and we had a bad dog fight. It took us 3 full minutes to separate them and we had to go to the emergency vet immediately. I was so worried after that and so much more cautious but I wanted to have piece of mind. I couldn't get him to let go of her so I looked online and found this bite stick.Low and behold 11 days later, he seemed to find something on a side table and when our other dog went to investigate he went after her. Thankfully, the bite stick was RIGHT there. He got hold of the wrong dog and she wouldn't let go of him. If it wasn't for the bite stick, I have no idea what kind of damage would have happened.This really works. I want to have one in every single room. This has been a life saver.

The stick itself is a solid thick plastic and it would certainly get its job done. But I bought 2 of them new and when i opened the package, both had scratches and marks on the stick like they had been used. The blue handle on both is this cheap rubber wrapping that came already peeling. Sure, these sticks will do what they're made to do, but for $25, I expected at least something of better quality

My parents insane little frenchie attacked my dog, who is a pit. She defended herself... with a lock jaw. So, I whipped this thing out and did what I trained myself to do. it worked in a snap. My dogs teeth were not damaged, her gums were bleeding. Both dogs were fine and it saved us a trip to the vet and likely, a dead dog.

Great object for in case your dog is bitten by another dog or vice versa. My only complaint is that I wish it was in other colors, as it could be mistaken for a weapon. Either way, a great tool to have.
