Microsoft Business Hardware Pack A4B-00007 USB Keyboard and Optical Mouse

I've owned this keyboard before where it lasted well over 20 years so I was happy to see it was still around. Great Microsoft product that is hard to find as they no longer manufacture it.

The Microsoft Business Hardware Pack is an excellent value for a keyboard and mouse set. A month ago I ordered 4 units for my small business. They've worked without any problems on our Macs. The software seems to function well and allows for all the additional keys and mouse buttons to be properly configured. I loved the keyboard but the mouse is terrible. Feels cheap and the scroll wheel is not up to par. The DPI of this mouse is terrible and even with sensitivity all the way up I still can't move all the way across the screen. The keyboard is probably the best feature, the keys are very easy to type with and feel like you are typing on air, the downside is that sometimes it feels like the keys hit the bottom of the base. Hard to explain but Keyboard is pretty good all around. For the price you can't beat it but be prepared to buy another mouse if you want to feel comfortable.

Although a bit big for my desk, this keyboard is comfortable and easy to use. My only beef is that the space bar doesn't always make a space, which is a royal pain for a speed typist. Also, I wish it came with instructions: I'm used to a Mac keyboard and this one has things on it that I haven't a clue how to use. The wrist rest is really nice to have, especially since I have carpal tunnel problems and my fingers fall asleep. With the wrist rest, this doesn't happen. Merchant delivered on time as promised. Box was slightly crushed on one side but keyboard and mouse were well packaged and were not damaged. Overall, it's an outstanding deal, especially considering the price.

I decided to buy this keyboard/mouse combo because it was wired. Yes Wired... I was sick of dealing with the wireless "pain" (batteries, frequent disconnection, etc). For my surprise, this combo was much better than what I was expecting. It's keys are pretty "soft" and quiet. And it includes some handy keys to access basic windows functionality (web, email, messenger, volume, etc). If you are looking for a cheap NON "painful" way of using your PC, this is IT.

Excellent for everyday use. You can't beat it at that price. But as the name says, it's design for business use, not for game. My old mouse from this set quit working after two years office use, the famous double click problem. I get a new set, but the mouse button feels less comfortable(harder) than the old one. Indeed, that one is two years old, may not be good to compare, but I'm sure the feeling changed.

I bought this keyboard/mouse combo after my cat spilled water onto my other one. I'm actually kind of glad he did because this one is so much nicer! I like the extended hand rest because it makes it much more comfortable to use. I also like the added button features like the calculator. So far, and it's been quite awhile, it has worked really smoothly. So, I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is one of the best keyboards I've ever used. Good touch, lots of shortcuts (print, send, web, zoom, spell, etc. etc.and programmable keys. I am so happy with it. The mouse is good too. I replaced it with a sluggish mouse that didn't work very well. Considering you get 2 good products for the price, I think it is an excellent buy as well.I don't think any of you will be disappointed.
