Which type of steel is it, 18/8?

I do not know what kind of steel it is but it is attracted by a magnet more strongly than other stainless steel spoons I have.

Are the edges and corners not supposed to be chamfered at all? The corner tips are so pointy, they catch the textile of washcloths and drying towels!
