I left my charger at a rental house and needed a replacement for my Acer Aspire 5 - A515-45. This charger has the correct voltage output, but a higher amperage output (original charger had 2.37a output and this has 3.42). My research indicated that the computer would only take the amperage it needs, even if more was available, so long as the voltage was correct. The charger worked great and did not overheat my computer. The connecter fit exactly. The price and speed of delivery were key parts of my purchasing decision from this vendor.
