Where are these manufactured?

The tea bags are made in China.

These are organic, made from natural wood pulp. I also have tea bags made out of hemp. All are good choices but I make a lot of tea. When in a hurry these are my go to.

Will these bags withstand boiling for hours for soup base?

I would say no for that you need to get some cheesecloth probably double it cut it to size you want fill it with your herbs and tie it with some cotton twine. These are much more delicate for steeping only can not withstand boiling.

Can these be heat sealed?

I would not attempt to heat seal as the bags are like paper. They have a good draw string at the top. I would think if you wanted to store multiple filled bags the draw string would be adaquate.
