Q: What country is this umbrella made?

Mine has a tag that reads “Designed in Brooklyn NY”. You flip the tag over and it it reads “Made in China”. Designed does not equal made.

Q: Can someone confirm this will withstand high winds and not flip inside out?

Although I haven't been in a high wind situation, in interviews I've seen that is one of the reasons for the design. It is a sturdy and very well made umbrella.

Q: What is the measurement when open. Im a bigger guy, and would like for ot to cover me?

Its about 3 feet not as big as a golf umbrella.

Q: Is the color of the shaft black or silver/stainless steel?

Mine appears to be reinforced black fiberglass
