13021 Zoomies Hands Free Binoculars

I didn't have any expectations for these and yet they were still disappointing. Gave them as a joke and they served their purpose. I wouldn't say they actually worked

After seeing these absurd things advertised on TV, I knew the perfect gag gift for my wife, an optometrist. They did not disappoint. As a bonus I got a great deal of personal entertainment out of these reviews. Those "As Seen on TV" products are always ridiculous but this is easily the dumbest thing since Snuggie. I never thought anyone would take that commercial seriously and expect anything other than what they got. A little common sense goes a long way, folks. Not so great as a serious product, but absolutely perfect if you see it for what it is and buy accordingly.

I had read a lot of the reviews before buying that stated that they did not work well and was just a toy. I still bought 2, for the price it was worth it. My Father wanted one and I got one for my son. SO... they are VERY cheaply made. The plastic is brittle and the adjuster falls off easily. BUT they do magnify!! My 5 yr old son loves them.

These are junk!!! Unless you have the head size of a 5 year old, adjusting the side screws to focus will result in the screws popping off and the glasses coming apart. I can see how the idea would work but poor craftsmanship prevents this from happening. If you wish to donate $20.00 to something at least make it worthwhile and give it to cancer research. The creators of this thing should be fined for pushing this junk around the world. Get your gorilla glue ready if you decide you really want these things. I opened the package, put them on, they broke I tried to fix; after 6 attempts to figure out why they fall apart, they went in file 13. I think my kids used the magnifying part to try and cook ants. Other than that, DON'T BUY THESE!!!!!

Considering the reviews here, I wasn't hopeful. I was expecting an unusable cheap toy. However, since there was nothing like it, I thought I'd give it a try. The one I have advertised 400% magnification instead of 300%. I found that the optical quality was as good as what I would expect from a cheap set of opera glasses, but they don't stick out as far as opera glasses and seems fairly comfortable to wear. Others have asked if you can use it over glasses, but (like binoculars), the zoomies can be used without your glasses since the magnification corrects for whatever prescription you have on your glasses. So, it isn't the greatest, but quite usable.

I've tried other "binoculars" which didn't magnify as much or were not as adjustable as these. They're comfortable and affordable and I'm very thankful to have them with my low vision.

One side was loose because the parts do not fit together well, and it's not able to be fixed. One side is great, but the other side was poorly put together. There needs to be a quality check on each product before it leaves the factory. The magnification itself is good, but the zoomie won't stay in place due to one side of the frame not locking into place.

This is the worst product ive seen in a long time. everything it says on the lable and in the ads on tv are sick lies this product does nothing it states it will do it wont focus it is 100% cheap plastic and the zoom on it is crap!all i can do is laugh at myself for being so stupid.I cant say enough bad stuff about this thing this scam this ripoff it makes me worry about buying anything else on amazon
