Bread and Tulips / Pane e Tulipani

This movie is delightful! It is scattered with humor, very uplifting, very relatable and about characters that you actually care about. The actors were perfectly suited for their roles, so much so that it doesn't appear that they are acting, but, instead, are living the lives of their characters. I love this enjoyable movie!

The story portrayed is such a gift to my spirit that I purchased this copy as a gift to another who endeavors to recover skills lost to the past yet earnestly wishes to be that person once more. I refrain from divulging the plot of the story, simply to say that it is a marvelously entertaining Italian masterpiece! Buy it, see it, then love it! harry

Good movie, but since it has sub-titles, it's hard to concentrate on the the movie itself.

I loved this movie when I first heard it in english. So much that I wanted to have a copy. I had a difficult time to find a CD version which I bought. My copy came in Italian language with English subtitles. Apparently it is no longer available in English.So much was lost in the translation that it was no longer humorous. I will throw it away, it is just not funny anymore.

A delightful cast and a charming script. This is a story to make you smile. And if you understand Italian, it's even better. I enjoy watching it again and again.

This movie was so much fun that I told my daughter that for my birthday the only gift I wanted was for her too see this movie.

My husband and I rewatch this movie occasionally when we need to be immersed in a feel good movie. This is it for us.
