Quick install time. Reasonably long life bulbs.

I am a repeat customer of the Sylvania Silver Star High Performance halogen headlight bulbs for my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I have used these since my purchase of this jeep in 2008. I turned fifty that year, and the bulbs in the Jeep didn't help me see squat driving at night. The Firestone folks recommended the "SilverStar" bulbs as they called them then. And that transformed my night driving. It is ten years later plus a few months in change. I'm older, and these are still the best night driving bulbs for me. I don't change the bulbs myself - I get the Firestone guys to do it and I buy the bulbs from Amazon. Two more things: I recently changed the low beam bulbs , and my purchase records here on Amazon showed me the last time I did that for the Jeep was three years ago. That's pretty good. I always change both bulbs when one goes out to keep the light beams at the same intensity, and save the good bulb that gets replaced in that process as an emergency fix bulb going forward. The second and last thing here says much about these bulbs in our world of blinding halogens being used by many drivers now: I have never had anyone flash their lights at me at night to indicate I needed to lower my bright beams. These bulbs help you see further down the road but don't hurt oncoming drivers' eyes.

Fit my car with no issues. Replaced my old headlights that were no less than 10 years old.

I replaced my entire headlight assemblies a couple years ago because the old ones were so hazy. I made the mistake of buying a cheap replacement-not great. They seemed to be worse after a short time, and a friend recommended I replace the bulbs, as the ones they came with were probably old and cheap too. So I put these in, both brights and dim. It does seem to have made a difference, I can see better then before. Since I'm planning on getting a different vehicle soon, it was better they buying another set of expensive headlights.

the low beams didn't impress me at all...I think my flash light is brighter.....the high beams are really really good....I think the astronauts in the space station could see me driving around with them on :)

Purchase leaves for my fiancees 2001 Jeep WJ because the auto parts store did not have them in stock and then you seem to work perfect

These are bright, but they're more on the yellow side compare to the previous xenon I had in before, well I still got one in and one of these and I can see the difference. They're not as yellow as my stock Halogen bulbs though and probably a lil brighter. I would recommend these if you are looking for brightness but for me I'm more looking for that white or white with the blue-ish tint so I won't really be buying these again. Don't get me wrong these are good but when SYVANIA start making those with that color temp Im looking for I'll be buying.
