THERMO-CUBE Thermostatically Controlled Power Outlet, On at 35F / Off at 45F

I have a couple of these for different places, I have one in my RV, which, as it gets cold, turns on a small space heater to keep the interior from freezing and help drive some moisture away. I have one in a vacation home that experiences, freezing temperatures, part of the evening, And it allows me to keep the temperature really low in there and save on energy bills turning on a heater only when the temperature gets low enough to be the concern.This is a real simple device when the temperature gets down to I think 36° it turns on the outlet and whatever’s attached to it until the temperature reaches 40 something degrees. Has two outlets out so you could use it to run heat tape for pipes or you can use it to run a small space heater as long as it has a mechanical not electronic thermostat. It works quietly and reliably and that’s the most important part is it needs to just sit there doing nothing until it has to work and then it has to work.It also comes in a couple of temperature ranges so if you wish to use it for your chicken coop or your doghouse to keep it a little bit warmer they do have a version for that. It’s not waterproof so you can’t leave it plugged in outside, but to keep your Storage shed from freezing or to keep your pipes from freezing and bursting. It works like a champ.

Need to keep my water pump from freezing in the winter so I plug a heat lamp into this and it’ll kick on before it freezes and kicks off when it gets warm

I tried using it with a small heater in my well house for a night that fell well below 35°F. It doesn't work. I tested the heater and the outlet and I tested this device in another location that was also below 35 and it still didn't work. Based on other reviews, it seems that some of them are duds. I suppose I'll try getting another one, because I really don't want the pipe in my well house to freeze again if we get temps below freezing! Update: I ordered a replacement and this 2nd one didn't work either. And now I can't find a way to request a refund. What a waste of time and money.

This works great for my chicken's water during the cold winter months.

I found this product from a Palm Tree Company. We wrap our palm trees on Long Island during the winter and the thermocube automatically turn the light bulbs on when temperatures drop below 35*. Fold fronds up, wrap with breathable membrane, wrap old style candescent C9 bulbs and cover. Keeps plant from freezing over winter

I use this in my 5x10 enclosed trailer. I have a power strip setup on wall with this thermocube plugged into it. And then I plug a 350 watt handy heater directly into the thermocube. I've only had a week or so but is doing the trick so far. Mine came on at 34°.

55 today, just tried the cube & the night light lit up at 55, possibly defective????

Need protection to save plants from freezing. It pays for itself.

We can tie both vehicles through this block if needed. Very durable and useful.

Works so far. It's in our 4x4x4 chicken coop with a cozy coop heater plugged into it. Since the coop temperatures have been between 0.5c and 7c or 8c, I assume it's working. Bought the 2 outlet kind in case we have to get a water dish heater.
