Jabra14201-33 EHS Adapter for Avaya

As others have stated, this works, and works well. I'm using it on an Avaya 9508 with a Jabra Pro 9470. It was a little tricky to set up, as the picto-graph instructions are very minimalistic, but a quick Internet search got me an Avaya document that filled in the blanks. Now I can answer my phone from the headset, and hang up (turn off) the headset from the phone. You can also program the phone so it defaults to the headset rather than the speaker phone, which is also handy. Well worth the time and effort and highly recommended.

This is the missing link. My company sent me a Jabra Pro 9400BS headset quite some time ago to replace my failed Plantronics headset. It never worked quite right with my Avaya 9611 phone and I was constantly fiddling with the headset button on the phone versus the headset itself and having call quality issues where people couldn't hear me at times, so I'd re-run the setup process. I finally became fed up and had a look at Jabra's support forums. As it turns out, this simple adapter was all that was needed to make my Jabra work exactly as it should. The instructions are a little sparse, so do note that you'll need to enable 'Headset Signaling = Switchhook and Alert' on the phone, as well as re-run the initial setup on the Jabra base. After that, it's smooth sailing.

LIFESAVER!! Jabra 9400 and Avaya 9611The company I work for recently "ugraded" the phone system from Cisco to Avaya and the new Avaya phone did not work properly with my Jabra wireless headset. Furtunately, this little piece does the trick. It was ALMOST plug and play. Because my headset had been configured with the setup wizard for my Cisco phone, I had to reset and do the setup wizard again - I think it was a total of 4 clicks on the touchscreen - very easy.With this adapter: I can hear incoming calls ring in my headset, activate and deactivate my hookswitch to answer and calls, and I don't need to use a lifter anymore. All other headset functions work as normal including mute and volume control. This adapter was a lifesaver for my $300 headset.

Very easy to install. The only issue I had was due to limited documentation included in the box. My handset needed to have a setting changed to alert via the headset that there was an incoming call.

Works as advertised with my Avaya 9504 phones.

Product does exactly what it says it will do perfect connection first time and the cable is no too long that it gets in the way personally I think the price point could be lower, but I am very happy with the cable and would purchase from this seller again
