Absolutely superb
This flagship Nokia Lumia 925 is without a doubt the best mobile phone I have ever seen. The Windows Phone 8.1 operating system is now patched with the Black update which removes just about all annoyances of the Windows Phone system. the addition of custom tones for text and email for example. Integrates with Facebook, Windows Live, SKYdrive (that was a dig at Sky BSkyB who think they own the word "sky" now) and LinkedIn. Also comes with Office mobile which integrates perfectly with Microsoft Exchange email servers. the phone feels expensive. Such smooth glass. Metal chassis. Snappy processor. Most of all of course the Windows Phone live tiles deliver information at a glance of your home screen. The Amoled screen which is vivid and bright in daylight and dim and calming in the dark. I almost forgot to say that the camera is superb and comes with an LED flash although it works in surprisingly low light levels without it. I really can't praise this phone enough. Buy one!

Great handset, super build, WP still lacking
As the heading suggests, if you are not brand/OS loyal to Apple or Android, then this is a great option, solid build, good camera, fast, smooth operation. I used for a while and really enjoyed it, just missed a number of apps which are still not available on WP.

Ace phone
This is my second Windows Phone and in cosmetic (software) respects there's no distinguishable difference between WP 7.8 and 8, but this phone takes advantage of NFC, wireless charging and is 4G ready. The 4.5 HD screen is pretty much comparable to Retina on iPhones, to my eyes. It's very light, has good built quality, and as ever the OS is zippy and intuitive. The constant - and valid criticism - of all WP phones is lack of apps, but the gap is shortening in regards to all the big ones (Instagram was released just a few days ago), so if you find app variety is not too big a deal right now, this Lumia is probably the best phone in terms of price-feature ratio.

Awesome phone
I upgraded from a lumia 800 to this so I was already on board with the Windows Phone OS. This is by far the best windows phone that nokia have produced to date (excluding the 1020 which hasn't shipped yet) and the only real competitor to the Galaxy S4 and IPhone 5. I liked the other lumias but they just didn't look or feel as sophisticated as they needed to be for a high end phone. However that's not a problem with this phone, feels light in the hand, beautiful screen, very responsive and the custom nokia apps are decent. So far I only have good things to say and could go on and on but I'll stop here.

Incredible phone
I love this phone. I was actually a little bit concerned about Windows Phone 8. All my concerns disappeared when the phone arrived and I turned it on. The graphical user interface is really fluid and feels really well. Live tiles give relevant feedback for each application. In comparison with my old Android phone this one really rocks. Moreover, the phone feels high quality and resistant because of the aluminium case. There was a minor problem with "Sync my data application" which did not manage to import my old android phone contacts. This was fixed by simply configuring email accounts and installing Linkedin application. I strongly recommend everyone this great phone. I love it.

No 4G, watch out
It's actually a lovely phone. Great build quality, very nice to use. But despite the blurb and the advertising, it's not a 4G device. Only Vodaphone-locked phones are 4G in the UK. They say that third-party vendors like amazon will have 4G activated at an unspecified future time via a software update, but as I write this they have no estimate on when that will happen.

Great Phone
After a tricky set up (mainly down to my own needs) I have found this Phone to be brilliant. Windows phone 8 is great although as many have said it is lacking apps. The majority are there though. The camera is great. easier to use than the 1020 phone. Yet still takes amazing shots.

The phone came really fast with one day delivery option. About the quality, this phone is totally new and in good condition. The only problem is that my phone is the Latin American version (sold in Brasil). I had a hard time setting the language to English (the phone was in Portugese or whatever..I am not sure). Since this phone is from a foreign country, it will not have US warranty. I just found out about this today. About the phone's qualilty, Pros: Fast performance, brilliant camera, solid build quality. Cons: low resolution screen with Pentile Oled display (not really sharp), overheating (heavy games...), mediocre battery life. Network and call quality: call quality is OK with T-mobile network. This phone does not support VoLTE (HD Voice). Furthermore, it also cannot use T-mobile's 4G LTE network. The phone is only able to ultilize HSPA+ (maximum speed is just 7.2 mbps).

Not my first windows phone, so I knew what I was getting into with the operating system. Overall I like the phone and have no complaints.

I used to be an iphone guy. For a really long time. My problem now is to find the replacement to my apps, as and example, my home banking app. Not everyone think out of the android or ios box, so, for me, now, thats the only problem. The phone indeed is beautiful. The camera is good (not so good when you use the fancy nokia app) and the performance is flawless. The only thing that bother me is when you unlock the phone or when you change from one app to another you see a loading screen for a brief time. Besides that, the phone is a great piece of hardware and windows phone is still growing.

This is an awesome phone as far as usability and apps are concerned. Very lightweight as well, better battery life with more power saving options, and above all, allows me to uninstall an app (unlike my Gingerbread Android). I'm loving it. But this phone fails at one big point. No 4G/LTE compatibility with T-Mobile USA or AT&T USA. Both are major GSM (sim-card) carriers. 1700/2100 MHz BOTH are required to get 4G signal. Just 2100 MHz will not work! Using ookla app the best speed I've seen on this phone is 6 Mbps download in an area T-Mobile USA advertises LTE speed. Whereas it should be around 15 Mbps (more than double) IF it could catch LTE.
