This stuff grew fast!
I'd tried a very small mix of catgrass seeds that came in a cute little dish from Chewy.com, but it didn't make it. It produced very little growth and then died. I followed the directions completely, and I was puzzled when they said to cover the seeds with plastic wrap and put in a warm, dry place for 2-3 days. I was skeptical to say the least. This stuff is growing incredibly well!! My two cats absolutely love this stuff. At least twice a day they chew on it. This is a high quality product that your cat will love!

Quick and easy to grow!
I volunteer at a local animal shelter, and use these seeds to grow small containers of cat grass for the pets while they're waiting to be adopted. They sprout within about 3 days of planting, and grow to a useable height (about 4-5") in just a week from planting! Pretty good germination rate, too. Not all cats are interested in cat grass, but those that are seem to really enjoy this mix.

Great for an indoor cat who wants to be outside more
He loves trying to eat all plants, especially grass. Whatever variety is outside always made him sick. So far after a couple samples with this variety he has been okay. Grows fast too.

Amazing growth and color, plus my cat loves it!
Originally I was a little disappointed with the amount I received, but I weighed it out and it's actually a little more than 6 ounces! My cat was chewing on the bag trying to eat the seeds before I even planted them. And once I did plant them, I had 4-5 inches of growth within 3 days! The photo I added is 3 days after planting. The different types of grass make for a multi-colored window box that looks quite spiffy on my kitty's favorite windowsill. He doesn't tend to eat a whole lot of cat grass, but I can tell he's eaten some after putting it on his windowsill for a day.My 3"x12" window box took about two handfuls of seeds to plant in two layers, which means I have plenty left for when I inevitably forget to water this grass for a little too long and need to re-plant. When I need to buy more seeds, I will definitely choose this listing again!

My cats are addicted!
These seeds sprouted quickly (they are in the top two trays in pic) & my cats love it! They beg for this cat grass daily.

Disappointing
The cat grass is disappointing. It sprouts readily and grows strong, but the leaves are very wide, they look more like weeds, and it grows quite tall and bushy. Our cats enjoy it for a couple of days when it first sprouts and the growth is tender, and after that they ignore it. It looks nothing like the cat grass I buy at the pet store. I don't see much evidence of four types of grass, just the one dominant one. I will use up the bag, but plan to try something else.

Works
This will grow you a pot of nice soft grass for your cat.My dog also likes it.Or you can plant it outside n the garden and let them chomp it down there.I was surprised when the grass sprouted, because I'm not so good with house plants. But I got luxuriant growth. My cat ignored it for three daysand then tasted itand became a believer. You could buy a fifty-pound sack of any of these grains at the local agricultural supply storefor the price of the three handfuls of seed you're getting ...but then you'd have 49 pounds of rye grain left over, for which you probably have limited need.
